You know what's funny?
So we had quite a storm today...we were at our religious meeting and came home to this...

It's about 7 feet long and missed the house by a few feet.

And this fell on the deck (my dad moved it, deck's okay)

That one's about 5 feet long. We were better off at our meeting because it wasn't quite as bad and there was power. The power was off here (clocks were wrong) and we would have had to go to the basement. But there was a pretty rainbow where we were. I looked out the window and there it was. It was so perfect. A perfect half circle. The only more perfect rainbow I've ever seen was in Hawaii. I could only get this shot though. Doesn't do it any justice.

You can only barely see it on the photo, but you can see how pretty the sky was.

Cool pics...unless someone was hurt...then not so cool...

We get so many storms around here, I am surprised when we go a couple weeks without one. Tornadoes though...no fun...

I am always napping. However, I have trained myself to Sageteer in my sleep.

So you can go full Sageteer while you sleep walk?

So, I got my hair cut today.
It is way too short.

Should be fine in a week or two.
Certainly better than what it looked like prior though.
Seems your hair is making a full blown revolution against your head.
First it was too long and now too short!

Of course I have. That's just the highlight, the pinnacle of my education.

And don't call me Shirley.
I just want to tell you both good luck!

@PUSH, this may have been mentioned before, but happy 38,000 likes! You're catching up to '74.

I'm too busy using this gorgeous tool for all my mat!!

So...I've spent the past 2 days doing screen caps and editing them from a presentation DH's cousin did for his mother's 90th birthday. I told him I would help him put together a hard cover book for her to have to look at, since my mother really likes the one we did for her. I did 184 pictures yesteday before he whole program crashed and I lost them all, so I had to start all over today. But the pictures are all done and saved so tomorrow I'll start organizing them, once I can get my eyes uncrossed...

Always save, you should always save every 5 minutes of work. ALWAYS.. never trust computer programs!

So far I've heard of one death from this storm..which is good considering that we'll get about 20 sometimes from a storm like this. The death unfortunately was a child at camp. Eight more children were injured. They were playing outside and were coming inside when they were hit by falling debris. It's sad, but I blame the counselors. If they had been paying attention and gotten the children in BEFORE the storm hit, then that death would have been prevented. Makes it all the more tragic.

No tornado warnings either, which given the wind, is surprising.

Gone for the long weekend and I am like 50 pages behind. :banghead:

The irony about it all is that I used to run workshops for teachers showing them how to use Microsoft Word and Works, and I always told them to save as they went along (now with auto-save it's not quite so crucial). I, of all people, should have listened to my own advise. I've just never had that happen before with that program.
