Did you picture this?

The original Keeprite green box. They may not be efficient, but they last FOREVER.

I actually still have that in my yard. Likely 40+ years old. Only had issues 2xs in 30 years and minor. But it misses a few room adequately so there are tiny window units in those rooms when necessary. Today the weather is March weather, don't need supplements.

So I guess the problem with our internet is that we got upgraded but we needed to purchase a new router to go with it. They conveniently forgot to leave that part out. So now the router is unhooked and my mom has to go get a new one. My two days off this week have both been days without internet. How nice.

That is why I reluctant to compare internet services here. I have choices but it usually a week or two of hell.
It is time again but can't seem to find the will to do it.

Just finished my absconded Jason's Deli luncheon lunch... :cautious:

What did you eat. DD and I ate there this week. I had the Ruben. It was lovely. Slurp.

That oughta learn ya'! ;)

Here, this should help...

Well if I didn't already hate it, that would do it.

Didn't the World Cup end yesterday? o_O

Yes, Yes it did. I am so sad to see the soccer thingie go. :cautious:

My daughter will sit and eat grape tomatoes by the handful. She definitely got that from her father. :geek:

Yep, I pop grape tomatoes in my mouth while I am gardening.
So it's not at ALL funny that a knife wielding man entered the Good Morning America studios looking for Michael Strahan. It is, however, a bit funny that the man shares a name with a current football player (Andre Johnson).

Man people are CRAZY in this world.

I totally missed the knife dude and Strahan. Today?

dont forget to use an speed test..
to be 100% sure they are not lying on their rates.

I'd love to know what a Speed Test is? Never heard of it but I wonder about ours.

BEST QUOTE OF ANY ERA!
"The Budget should be balanced, the Treasury should be refilled, public debt should be reduced, the arrogance of officialdom should be tempered and controlled, and the assistance to foreign lands should be curtailed, lest Rome will become bankrupt. People must again learn to work instead of living on public assistance." - Cicero , 55 BC

So, evidently we've learned all over the past 2,069 years.

Some things are just timeless.

The last time I tested my internet I got a F as a grade. Now I have a D! I'm excited!

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.

I have a particular love/hate relationship with those old KeepRite green boxes.

My dad worked at KeepRite for 30+ years, before all manufacturing was moved south of the border.

Those green boxes put a roof over my head, food in my belly, wheels under my butt, and provided for a glorious wedding day.

Sadly, the antiquated (and illegal by today's standards) manufacturing process in that plant led to the early deaths of the majority of the employees.

When my dad was the Union rep. attending multiple funerals every year, the average age of the guy in the box was 58.

I guess I should be grateful my dad made it to 62.

Sister James Angelo is that you? Any reason why my nuns were all named after Men?

Thanks.
Have I not used this one before?
I know I posted it before w/ToT and RnRC pics.

@JenniferS - ride junkie ... as long as it doesn't involve spinning.

Right there with ya sister friend.

I can ride the Tea Cups as long as our individual cup doesn't spin. :hungover:

Until my kids were old enough to ride on their own on the Tea Cups I rode with them and held the wheel still so it did not spin. They didn't realize what I was doing. Then they started going on the TCs themselves. Now they are like me, no spin'n. My DS won't even ride the little spinners like Dumbo.

Yep.
Second place - the old Body Wars.
Current Second place - Star Tours.

I had a stroke the first time I walked into SGE. I was terrified that thing was going to spin - like the Gravitron, but with theming.

I always did OK on Body Wars, Star Tours original did not have a center line of vision so I only rode it once. Ill.
My DS dragged me on it right after they remodeled it. I'd look up from time to time, the ride is perfectly fine, it is the dang movie projection. So I pick out spot on floor and stare and say yay that was great. o_O
