For the record, I don't think Marie's sculpture looks like lady parts either.

It reminded me of the Everyone Love's Raymond episode when Marie makes a sculpture and gives it to
Raymond and Debra.

Edit: Guess I should catch up before posting. lol

OK, a day late, but, as promised, our new Australian Shepherd mix pup, "Indy"... :)

what an adorable puppy!

It's already the 4th of July next week. It seems like I just ended the semester.
The older you get, the faster the time seems to happen D:
the time perception really feels different at your 30's than when you're on your 20's.

Of course, you just need to get the PROPER pillow, like this one for ladies:

Eeeh. I dont think everyone just hunts for attractions. Last time I was at epcot, I just wandered to see the flowers or pavilions's sections.
I suppose it depends on the person.

I think we forget how little the majority of guests comprehend WDW.

That cactus pillow would be perfect on the back of my Adirondack Chairs.

Anyway, finally got my suit..
but I had more issues there.

I had my mother accompany me to give her OK on the visuals.(she also wanted the excuse to go shopping to the store lol).
Anyway, they gave me the new "fixed" suit and I proceeded to test it. ( A lot of people just pick up the suit and leave, not re-testing it.. .which is a big mistake) because: The jacket of the suit was NOT FITTING WELL.
(Note that I tested the full set before buying it and send it to get modified for my size.)

But when I tested it fully, I noticed I could not raise my hands.. they claimed they would never touch the jacket main body.. only touched up the cuff links area of the jacket.. and I said BS. the jacket was too short for the arms as well.
I say BS because the thing had something near the armpit seams that made it too tight!
I am the one testing the suit and it felt NOTHING like the original one I tested a week ago.

My mother took the side of the tailor and insisted that I was mistaken.. I had to stand my ground. I kept repeating that I was not mistaken.. the feel of the modified jacked was completely different from what I had tested( I could no longer raise my arms!)
After a few 10 or 15 minutes of back and fort and insisting that the Jacked was different...
The original vendor who sold me the first jacked ( and a secondary vendor) suggested and agreed to test a normal unmodified jacket with the same size.. and go figure.. it did fit perfectly and I could raise the arms fully. The flaw was in the modified jacket.

Once everyone seen how I could raise my hands perfectly fine with the unmodified jacket and couldn't even lift the arms above my chest with the unmodified one; Mother finally took my side.
The tailor still tried to defend her work, claiming she didn't touch anything else than the cufflink area of the jacket suit.

So something of these two happened:
  • she(the tailor) DID change and modify the jacket too much.
  • someone changed the perfectly fine jacket to a jacket with fabrication flaws(the one they were trying to shove to me).
Anyway, I took the new unmodified jacket and everything is as well.

You wonder why I am riled about this.. There is a reason:
As soon you leave the store with the formal suit.. the store no longer accepts refunds or changes. So if you accepted a damaged suit or an altered suit without testing it.. you're on your own!

Once its out, You cannot complain and any changes will be charged with full cost ( a few hundreds for sure).
So, the pressure by the tailor, to shove the flawed jacket as fast she could, was very suspicious. Thanks god the original vendor was not like that and suggested to try another jacket.

and that is the adventure of today!

(edited for clarity)

Seriously, good grief!!! :jawdrop:
That would NEVER happen at the mens clothing store I work at. Word of mouth would blow you outta' the water, and why would they wanna' do that, anyway...
Pretty sure that was somebody tryin' to CThereA. :bored:

I highly recommend the slow roasted pork chops at Seasons. One of the best meals of my trip. Go figure.

This is what I had at BOG

Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style)
Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, and Bacon served with Mashed Potatoes
and Green Beans Jardinière and a grey stuff cup cake

looks very good!

I had this for lunch last year. It was delicious. Every bit as good as the Yankee Pot Roast at LTT.
Too bad BOG doesn't serve Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake ... or in fact, any edible dessert.

lucky of you guys, when I went. BOG was completely full to the seams. No reservations available, no spot left.. nothing.

Giggle. It is art. My kids saw things they never saw at the real Disney during Gay Days one year. The 'gentleman' behind us in a grass skirt asked my young son in a queue if he wanted to see something and then spread his grass skirt and there it was! Bringing new meaning to The Magic Kingdom. It is amazing what I witnessed that trip let alone my children but Disney too is fine with the uniqueness. It all shapes the total Disney brand.
Wow, talk about a cost free show o_O

...does anyone think the new club 33 logo looks a bit uh.. Perverted?
how so?

They just made it look like Tron 2, replaced the bump and environment tests with nothing, and stopped explaining the speeding up and braking portion. The update is one of those one step forward, two steps back type situations.
Maybe the whole process took too much time and Disney wanted to increase the cycle of the attraction to process more visitors per hour?

This is the pile of hooey DS and myself designed on our last trip just to be silly.
Oldest DD and her hubbies design was WAY more aerodynamic and sensible, performance-wise, all the way around. Still, somehow, we kicked their butts...???!!!

Well here is another twist to my DD BFFs trip to Disney. She had FP+ for Kali but the FP+ queue was beyond freak'n long and slow. Ultimately they had to get out of line as they had VIP arrangements for Lion King. The CM as they were attempting to exit Kali asked why and they said they would miss their VIP seats for Lion King and the CM fixed their Kali reservation for later due to the problems with Kali. Happy Guests.

Yup, that's what I had, but mine looked better for some reason. I didn't get the mashed potatoes because I don't like them (Aulani is the only place I've ever found mashed potatoes that I liked) so I got the Au Gratin Macaroni. Which meant nothing was touching on my plate. As it should be... I normally hate green beans, though, but I ate the BOG ones.

I'm from Canada. The air is clearer up here. And less people equals less cars.
What about mosquitoes and insects? D:

Reminds me of the episode of Everybody Loves Raymond with his mom's statue she made and the mom didn't see "it" (;);)) but everyone else did. I think we have the opposite here.

I think I imagine another similar show scene from another sitcom.
Where some girl worked with a marketing company that sells product designs.. they had to test a design for cereal..
They decided for a design.. until this woman could not let go the idea the cereal piece looked like.. ahem.. the female reproductive body part.
and she kept telling everyone despite noone seeing it first ( until she told them).

So kids and men ended spitting the cereal. Others outright being horrified.. and the company ended firing her.
The sitcom episode ended with her insisting to her husband how it looked like that body part again and again.

OMG! My DH and then my DS do the segregated dinner thing too. And if the dinner plate isn't served segregated they rearrange the food until it is properly segregated. My DD and I get such a kick out of it.

BOG does have the reputation for being inconsistent with their menu items. So yours looking different than mine doesn't surprise me. It was good though.
