Well, that's a bit more understandable. At least her friend had a 4-hour snooze, prior to staying up most of the night. I suppose, too, that people tend to feel more awake when they're surrounded by hordes of other people, enjoying the park at crazy hours. The upbeat energy generated from the crowd can be contagious!

Back about 5 years ago my DD and I made it to 130am when open 'till 3am. I have to say it was a bit creepity walking back to the Mansions at POR when nobody, nobody was anywhere around. Now my DH and DS back 10 years ago were able to make it 'till 3am, came back and jumped in the pool at AKL about 4am. They were pretty much going to bed as my DD was waking up (she is 5 years younger than her brother.)

My DS did the 24 hour leap year party in the evening till dawn, left the park at 6am left went to Perkins, returned and started work for 10 hours or so.

Because LeCellier is a far cry from a Signature restaurant? I had the stewish thing at BOG and it was good, but overall I am not overly impressed with the overall experience there, it is pretty but so many people making it loud.
I've been to BOG several times. I've had the salad, the Mussels, the French Onion soup, the shrimp and scallops (it was good, but I no longer eat shrimp) but for some reason decided to try the slow roasted pork. Oh. My. Gosh. It was SO good. So tender that a knife was not required. I got it with the Au Gratin Macaroni and that was also great, like grown up mac and cheese. It came with green beans. I don't like green beans. I ate all of them.

I normally like Le Cellier, but they got rid of the mushroom filet and the replacement is, well, meh. I might not go there in August. My parents have a reservation, but I might just go get something from Seasons, Mexico, or Morocco. The cheddar cheese soup and poutine were still good.

Hahaaa!
When I first saw that image I did a double take. It kinda' looks similar to this church up the road from us in Round Rock, Texas.

They actually got out once - they are pretty smart! It's not a good day when the County Sheriff calls and says "hey, your horses are running up the road, heading towards town - you'd better come get them!" I've re-done all the gates so even I have a hard time opening them now...

Good idea. Although they lack opposable thumbs, they, generally, have longer necks and snouts then us. ;)

I've only been to Le Cellier once for lunch and thought the soup was awesome and the burger was decent, but I still have a few other places to try at WS before I go back.

I highly recommend the slow roasted pork chops at Seasons. One of the best meals of my trip. Go figure.

This is what I had at BOG

Braised Pork (Coq Au Vin Style)
Eight Hour Slow-cooked Pork with Mushrooms, Onions, Carrots, and Bacon served with Mashed Potatoes
and Green Beans Jardinière and a grey stuff cup cake

I'll look for the picture

I had this for lunch last year. It was delicious. Every bit as good as the Yankee Pot Roast at LTT.
Too bad BOG doesn't serve Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake ... or in fact, any edible dessert.
