I sang Empty Chairs and Empty Tables for my college scholarship auditions.

Les Mis is one of the few musicals I enjoy. I love Anne's version of I Dreamed a Dream, though. I loved the movie altogether. Russell Crowe actually wasn't awful like I thought he'd be.

I really wanted to see the movie. I love movie/musicals. I supported Evita, for example...and Les Mis is one of my favorites. I somehow missed it in the theaters (busy, I guess)...

I saw it on stage with the original cast, and it made me cry...the only musical to do such.

You have to see the movie. Anne Hathaway is amazing. The Oscar she won was very much deserved.

This scene in the movie cracked me up! Sacha Baron Cohen and Helena Bonham Carter play those two, and they were great, too.

I think Helena Bonham Carter is just a great actress. She's like the female Johnny Depp. I love her as Bellatrix in Harry Potter.

In retrospect, I was a much better character actor than I was a lead, I should have done that song...but I was trying to vary my audition since my other part I did character acting...

I got a scholarship too, until the State of GA got involved...long story...

I flipped a finger at college education due to that (I don't have one) and went on to work for a nationally traded company building their training program (in the end)...

Now I'm just a computer nerd...but, at times I wish I'd kept with the theatrical path...
