I read the first day of the new thread, must go back at some point and read his posts at least. Not likely today, I am on a heat break. I'm hoping the shade comes soon to my back veggie garden cause 89 is too hot to be planting for both me and the tiny veggies. I had a goal of everything being wrapped in tightly by the end of May. I am so close but thinking I'm going to need a few more day, unfortunately we have a stretch of 90's coming. Warm to be playing in the dirt.

Yep, 94 here right now (heat index of 97). No sense in risking your health, the plants can wait.
Need to take care of the yards again since all the rain, but, had planned on doing that tomorrow 'cause of our (now delayed) plans for today, so now just bein' lazy.

I know toilets/toilet seats/toilet lids were thrown (or, is that throne ;)) out there as this weekends theme, but, it dosen't look like it's taken hold, just yet. Butt, of course, I'll roll :D with it if that's the one we stay with.
What about...jellyfish, coral, or tropical fish?
Ill pass on the toilet seats lol.
not exactly a fan of these tools.

This is the plate I had...

Sometimes when hubby's snoring is outrageous, he'll get up and sleep on the couch.

Believe it or not, that makes me feel even worse.
6' 8" men were not meant to sleep on regular sized couches.

Happily, it doesn't happen too often. The trick for me is to wake him up just enough to make him roll over, without waking him up so much that he feels compelled to sleep on the couch.

Hah! Way behind and just now got to this.
Sounds pretty familiar, based on my recent post regarding such. :)

It's National Reserves training weekend here. (The base is about five minutes from me.) Yesterday my town was full of GI Joes/Janes and their military vehicles. Today the sky has been a display of various aircraft. We were just outside playing when the coolest thing happened. I could hear something flying over real low. (You know when stuff in your house rattles, they're low.) Anyway I see my daughter in the yard waving her arms in the air like she just don't care. :D I went out and looked up. There were two helicopters with the doors open. There were soldiers sitting with their legs hanging over the side and they were waving at my daughter and she was waving back. I must say that was pretty awesome. :)

We live quite near our airport, and it always amuses us when my family members visit. They all live in a very rural part of the state, so whenever they hear a plane taking off or landing here, they stop and wave. It never gets old!

Yeah, but they said "Black Label".

Non-drinker here, but even I know that Black Label is yucky.

My Dida (grandpa) drank BL, and my brothers (who would drink ANYTHING!) wouldn't touch it, even though it was unguarded in the back porch, just ripe for the stealing.

I remember one of the guys on that trip to Seaside Heights on the Jersey shore back in '81 bringin' a case of it along. It was beer. I drank it. ;) :)
