Madonna seems much more mean spirited and entitled than Miley does. I'm not a fan of either however.

Kazakhstan and Beijing seem to be the last two Olympic bidders left for the Winter 2022 Olympics. Poland pulled out citing the expense as their reason and it looks like Livi will have to pull out due to the fate of the Ukraine, Russia just had the Olympics and this would just give them a second go around some say.

I actually had to look up where Almaty was in that region of Kazakhstan.

Deer jumps off overpass and onto minivan with Mom and 4 kids.

Mom arm is injured but everyone else OK but the minivan that was not insured as they only carried liability insurance is totaled. One car finally stopped to see if they were OK.

They really need to put those deer crossing signs someplace else. Someplace less busy so that the deer won't cross where they could cause an accident.

I will reiterate the story I posted in the past where my friend, who was quite overweight at the time and probably upwards of 200 pounds, felt the need to do the "Rerun" dance from "What's Happenin'?" while on the glass deck of the Toronto tower near Blue Jays stadium (@JenniferS please insert the correct name of the building here!) while I lay on the floor just peeking my face over the glass to look down.

I find that the older I get, the less interested I am in the Olympics.

So much corruption in the bidding process.
So many cheaters.
So much money spent by countries that can ill afford to host. The Athens Olympics lost 15 Billion dollars, and is cited as one of the main reasons for their current financial disaster.

All the purity is gone, and therefore, for me, the joy.
