Now, 4 Pics 1 Word, I ABSOLUTELY CHEATED AT.

Google a description of the four pics and how many letters ... voila, instant success.
I had to do that for a couple, but my friends and I would have three of our phones going, and passing them around trying to figure out what it was.

seen those episodes, its funny how they always find its him by his way of talking.. behaviour and cooking.
at least he tried to not curse like a sailor while on disguise XD

you skipped me :(

Actually, I had started to type my post last night, but got interrupted before I could edit it to include Mexican accents. (I was reminded that my time was up on the computer—I share the computer at home here, and usually get kicked off around 9:00). So I hit Post in my haste, (before editing) and logged off.

After the fact, I hoped that it would just slip by without anyone noticing. Never meant to leave you out, Cesar. I should never post anything close to 9 p.m.; because if I make a mistake, I can't fix it until early the next morning when I'm back on the computer. I'm such a dork. :(

And, TD is trash drawer, WC is water closet, WR is wine refrigerator, etc. ;) :)

At out fancy dinner hubby went to the bathroom and there were 2 doors - one with a "w" which he figured was "women" and one with a "wc" and he didn't know what that meant so he came back to the table. Turns out both were "water closets" and bathrooms for both genders.

Oh my, that sounds like it could be serious. o_O
Eh?! might wanna' get itself checked out by a qualified medical practitioner.

Just sayin'...

:D :angelic: ;) :)

There's also "Ehhhhhh" like this guy says:

I know someone who can't say "animal", and instead she says "aminal".

Is she 4?

Is Words With Friends still a thing?

I have 4 friends that play and have to nudge me at least once a week.

I'm not sure. I never really played it. The newest game is 2048.

My kids (and hubby) are into the "Dumb Ways to Die" app. It's not as bad as it sounds.

My mom used to teach kindergarten in Brooklyn back in the late 60's. Every year she had 3-4 girls in the class named (phonetically) fem-AH-lay. Their parents always said the hospital named the girls before they had a chance. It was spelled "Female".

@Nemo14 might talk like that. :p

We have conference calls with call in numbers at work all the time - I've often wondered if we should have a Sageteer call one of these days!

My niece teaches in an inner city program. She had a little boy whose name was Shi-tead only it was spelled without the hyphen and an h was added after the t. Poor kid!

And yes, I do have an accent. When I first moved to Flagstaff, I subbed for a while in a local middle school, and the kids laughed at my accent (which I never realized I had). After a few months of living out there I pretty much lost it and discovered that long-lost letter R. Then when I moved back here my friends made fun of my "Western" accent. I can't win...

Is it, eh?
I know that you are out of school right now, but, in the event that you might want to one day take up Canadian citizenship, this is important. Ask Jennifer, I'm sure that they teach this in University, eh.

You do not, I repeat do not ask a question with "eh"! In other words no one would say "Is it, eh?" they would work with "It is, eh"! The question usage is not to get specific item information, it is an affirmation of what you said. A shortened version of... "It is, I'm sure you must agree!" In more basic terms one would never say, "Can you pick up a case of Molson at the store, eh?" What would be said is, "Pick up a case of Molson, eh! That would be followed by.. Don't drink it on the way home, eh!

A few years ago there was a series of threads here that a number of us were active in (@unkadug and @joanna71985 would remember this). One of the posters was pregnant with her first, so we at first planned a "virtual" shower for her, but it eventually evolved into a meetup in Philadelphia. It was great fun, and honestly everyone looked and spoke exactly as I had pictured them.

Found the thraed about that:
