So a few minutes ago I noticed it was storming and really yellow out (now it's dark again). I decided to open the back door to see how much it had cooled down. As soon as I stuck my arm out the door a huge lightning strike came down in the distance. Of course it was one of those loud, cracking bo
oms, too. Needless to say I think I nearly had a heart attack.
Now back to your regularly scheduled nonesense.
^Beat me to it by a minute. Were there sharks attached?

Thank God, no. I feel I'm too far away from shark infested waters to be in any danger of that.

So I just talked to a co-worker who saw a film called The Conjuring today. He raves about how good of a horror/ghost film it is. To be honest, I have been very disappointed in horror films of the past decade (minus Sharknado, that is). They just don't have that fun scare factor like when I was a kid. But he insists this is an old-school type of horror film (The Shining, Exorcist, Amityville) that actually makes people appreciate the genre. I might give it a try. Though I prefer to watch those types of films in October closer to Halloween, and in a dark apartment rather than a theater with cell phones & other distractions.

I usually don't care for horror films except for October. Then, I usually crave a good one or two. But other than that one month...meh, not really.I haven't watched a horror in so long.
I just checked and it's playing at ours!
but Mom might not get it....
Sharknado is playing at your local drive in!? Lucky!!
