I couldn't believe my ears yesterday, but my parents were actually talking about Fastpass+ and saying that they LIKE it! After their January trip, they came home and COMPLAINED. Now they're like, "Oh we can get to Epcot at 5 and still get on Soarin'" or "Now we don't have to run for a TSM FP and we can just use the DAS to ride Rock 'n Roller Coaster or get another FP for it" and "Now we don't have to run across the park for FPs." You could have knocked me over with a feather.

Epcot only has 3 attractions where FP+ is needed anyway so it winds up being kind of helpful there. It's the other parks that is screwing up my touring, especially MK. I have to find a new battle plan AND Wishes viewing area thanks to FP+ there.

I'm surprised how noone mentioned it the man ran and then escaped by using a Nissan Altima.

Push should not forget to make cute kitty-like eyes for maximum impact when begging.

Puss in Boots is part of the rotation between wallpapers (changed every 10 minutes). Also included are the Aristocats, Star Trek (I have a thing for Bones McCoy and Chris Pine), Nemo, Les Mis, Alice in Wonderland, various princesses (and Flynn Rider) and of course, Star Wars

We brought the new puppy home yesterday evening. Then we took her with us over to the newlyweds place to meet their two pups and look at the remainder of the wedding pics. Great night, and she seems to be so happy that she has room to run and explore. She also does really well in the car.
Ahhh...another generation. :)

MK is pretty simple. The three mountains, before about 2 pm, more reservations for other stuff once they are used up. I like the walkway between MS and Tomorrowland Terrace. But if towards the end of the day there are FPs still available for fireworks, then book one. Also, watch it twice, and the second time, watch in Fantasyland near the carousel or Pooh. Trust me. ;)

Although when I went in January, they still had paper FPs. It was awesome. We double dipped. And then randomly found FPs on top of the machine for BLSRS. We got so much done.

If only me and my gf were going, we would not plan that much. 6+ people I think we are going to need some organization and that is probably going to be the amount of people my gf can successfully recruit to come along.

There were 13 of us on our trip in July of 2012, and 8 on our trip last June. DWifey and oldest DD planned them both, and they were pretty flawless trips. Although the newlyweds were just at WDW on part of their honeymoon, and got to experience FP+, we have yet to do a big trip with it in place.
Somethin' tells me they'll find a way to work it to the max, though. ;) :)

Things I've learned today:
1. Getting out of bed is horrible when the cat wants to cuddle. Especially like today when she was letting me stick my face on her belly and purred so hard.
2. I hate warm marketing and prefer cold calling. My boss said he liked warm marketing.
3. If the printer breaks, nothing gets done

Which 3 are you talking about? Soarin, Test Track, and Maelstorm? Because you can only get 1 FP+ for those three, as they are all tier 1. The second tier has a bunch of rides you don't need FPs for, like The Seas, SSE, LwtL, etc. SSE gets 30+ minute waits during busy times, but I don't know what it's like during slower times.

I believe it was DHS that also had the tiered system.

I like the area near Gaston's fountain. It's a completely different vantage point. You see the fireworks over the Beast's castle, which makes them seem even bigger. You miss the shooting up pyrotechnics next to Cinderella Castle but it's still quite a nice view.

I thought you only got the 3 reservations and that was it. I didn't realize you could get more later on.

Like I have said many times before, I have never been able to finish reading into FP+ without losing interest and coming back in here.

They started an unlimited FP+ thing a couple weeks ago. Not sure how it works, but I imagine you can still only book 3 FP+s ahead of time. Otherwise they'd all be used up by the time you got there.

Can't I just use a time machine and go back to when the old system existed?

After you use your three or the time for the three has passed, you can then get one more pass for whatever is left. After that time is up, you may get another and so on.

Not if they just let ME book more than 3 ahead of time. So I don't understand what the problem is.
One problem with the extra passes is that you have to do them at the kiosk. Though, it never took us more than 10 minutes to get to a station. We waited to go to Animal Kingdom at 6 and didn't even need fastpasses. The park had basically cleared out by then for a closing time of 8. They still have single rider for EE, so that helped during the afternoon the time we went there during the afternoon.
