Sometimes it's for the better. Let's hope they understand that in the long run. :geek:
Situation was so screwed up. Both of their parents are mentally ill and drug addicts. They are both in jail for felony charges after they broke into my grandmother's house and stole from her. The girls have been with my grandmother five days out of the week for the past six months, and they were out with her when their parents broke into the house, so their parents, had they not been out, would have broken in when they were inside.

Their mom will be away for at least a year; their dad will be away for 2-5 years. Once when my grandmother didn't have the girls, they were left with a known drug dealer. My aunt had them a few weeks ago and when she had to take them home, they begged her not to. Their dad is fine with his mom taking custody, because their mom has relatives in West Virginia who they are currently staying with, and they are nuts as well. Their mom will probably blow a casket, but whatever.

They'll be much better off with my aunt and uncle in SC. My other two cousins and their spouses have moved down there, so my cousin's wife will take care of them three days out of the week, my aunt will be home with them one day a week, and my other cousin will take them the last day. She's also said if something happens and my aunt can no longer care for them, she would take them. So they'll be well taken care of, they've got one cousin who's a year older than the older girl and there's another one coming in December. My aunt says both of them will be in therapy as soon as they get on her insurance plan. The older one was acting out when she was staying with my grandmother, and the younger one started wetting the bed, so they both are showing the stress of all this.

So you know how I was talking about how there aren't bears down here, and there was a cougar sighting a few years back? Well, this picture was taken last night from a guy who was letting his dog outside near my town.

It's a bear on the right, and an unidentified animal on the left. The woman who lives there with her son said it looked like "a big cat".

This is really weird.

I don't know what it is on the left either, but, it only has one eye! :jawdrop::joyfull:

They probably think it is cheating to use gasoline as well... :cautious:

How big of a fire are you building? o_O:hilarious:
Forest!!! :cautious:

Thanks Sagateers for some helpful hints for WDW, and sharing some experiences you've had since the new Magic Plus system was implemented. Appreciate the comments.

I had time today, so I went to our local AAA office and bought my 5-day, Disney Parks Hopper, Water Parks, etc. card there; it saved me $26, believe it or not!! @Goofyernmost 's experiences with his card (and no magic band, thank goodness) were very encouraging.

@PUSH had a valid point about the early morning crowd's dash to the kiosks; however, I read on All Ears that people tend to hover at the ones right at the beginning of the park. All Ears suggested going a bit deeper into the parks for the other kiosks (particularly first thing in the morning) for fewer people.

Anyway, it's not a major thing to me if I do or don't get Fastpass entry into rides. I prefer to wander aimlessly through the parks without a schedule, or a care in the world on my mind. All year long I'm incarcerated into work and commuting schedules. It's so refreshing to go on vacation and just saunter . . .

@donaldtoo , I definitely plan to have a Dole Whip for you (and me!) in the MK, and ALSO a Darth Vadar, over the top, delicious cupcake at Hollywood Studios!

Lastly, an fyi here to @Soarin' Over Pgh : I absolutely plan to take a "pilgrimage" over to the Polynesian just to see what's going on. When I return next week I'll (briefly) share my impressions. I don't have a camera, but I'll do my best to communicate my thoughts.

Blue raspberry slushies rock, and are definitely worth having a blue tongue and lips for the next hour.

Blue raspberry anything rocks....every time I used to go to Six Flags as a kid I would always get a blue raspberry popsicle thingy....the taste still takes me back.
Phew. My aunt finally got custody of her beautiful granddaughters away from their deadbeat parents, who are currently both in prison. So sorry it came to this, but so relieved.

Never mind...you answered all questions in a later post.

Your mind has been blown, hasn't it?

Literally!
