No worries! Again, as always, I'm just bein' silly. ;)
But, for some reason, those do actually sound quite appetizing to me right now...! :joyfull: :hungry: :)

And, I had to finish this post from my phone. The laptop, for some reason, started to crap out on me about 30 mins. or so ago. It restarted several times, but, never quite got there. My apologies for anything I unintentionally missed. I'll try to catch back up to y'all tomorrow. Thanks for all the well wishes to ALL of y'all again, and sweet Magical dreams to you all... :)
Another one of @PUSH's identities having computer problems... What is Meg up to?...

This is interesting about rust. Recently, when I purchased my new (used) car, the car salesman looked at my old 1997 car that I traded in; he commented on all the rust. He told me that the newer cars now don't have that old issue because they are treated (as you noted above). So I just thought I'd share that with you.

I also live in the Northeast, and I'm still cautious about the effects of road salt over a period of time; however, I am not nearly as concerned about it now with the newer car models. Yet, I'll still definitely get my car washed more in the winter as a helpful , preventative measure. I guess that's all I can do.
There is another theory that has been bantered about for quite a while now, that when the temperatures are below freezing that the oxidization process slows to nearly a stop. Washing it or in other words making it wet once again activates the salt etc. Now that one isn't a proven theory and I am doubtful that salt stops corroding regardless of the consequences, but I found it an interesting one and justified my not washing my car that often in the winter. Every year the argument would come up about not using salt on the roads due to the car corrosion factor. The winning argument was that...If my car rust, I can buy another. If I get killed on icy roads, I cannot be replaced. So it continues to this day.

I still see a lot of rusty cars here in the spring though. It's what keeps the Bondo people in business.
Most of those happen because of minor accidents that managed to remove the paint and protective coating from the surface of the metal. Might be just a scratch. Once it gets to raw metal, it's cooked no matter how new the car might be.

I didn't know about the wooden leg!
That was the one named Smith right?

No trip to Costco.

Looks like bad weather is heading this way. There are severe storm warnings all around us. There is nothing we need so badly that it can't wait until Friday.

Sorry @Lucky - no sundae today.

Now I have to figure what we're doing for dinner. I'd planned on eating while we were out - either at Costco, or at one of the dozen restaurants in the same power centre.
Storms from last night must have passed border inspection and are now visiting Canada. :)

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
I'm still waiting for that day to happen. Don't think it will anytime soon but if it ever does, I'll have an answer.
Hubby and I are both commissioned sales people coming off of a seriously good month.
Sadly, all of the money is ear-marked for debt incurred in slower months.

One day next week, I will spread out all of our bills, go online, and shell out $80K in less than two minutes.
It will feel good when all the bills come in next month with a zero balance, but let me tell you, it will not feel all that great next week, seeing that bank account go from "bucks up" to zip.

Good point, however, it's only because we trust you guys. And even if we aren't talking about people, what about those artic blasts of freezing weather. We don't let that in, it just skips over the border. :joyfull::in pain:
Well that's it - get rid of the border. Problem solved.

Don't know y'all will feel about living in igloos and eating poutine all day, though.
