So frustrated right now. Final grades came out, and one of my grades, which I expected to be an A, was an A- (which is 3.7 points on the GPA scale instead of a 4). Naturally, I was a bit confused, since Blackboard, the system that we use to take online courses (this was an online course) and see our grades, says it was an A. So I emailed the professor. She says that I was missing two discussion boards. Neither of those were listed on my grade. Not only that, but she took the course down so I can't even confirm that these boards were missing. I emailed her back and said that there may have been a technical difficulty (happened earlier in the year, I sent her a link and she fixed the grade), she didn't inform me at the time that the assignment was missing, as she did for the other discussion board, and that I could not confirm that these assignments were missing. So I asked her to change the grade. She told me that it was my responsibility to make sure the grade went in (really? My responsibility? What is she for, then? For all I knew, she was late grading it; plus she told me about the other board that was missing) that I had to check it against the syllabus (which she did not follow, the syllabus put the class at 200 points total, not 205), and that the school took the course down, not her (also a lie, professors have control over their courses until the school clears them at a certain point). So now I have to go through this whole process to get it changed. It's not even that I care that much; it's that she's been such a pain in the _ss this semester and the fact that she flat out lied to me.
