Well my DD is bum'd. Her favorite maintenance dude for the waterpark has quit. He was from Texas. He is the nicest and the most competent, actually more competent than the other 3 put together.

He is now going to be from Texas again. Our Winters do that to people. :coldfeet:

When you're the leader, you don't have to follow.
Hubby and I listen to a radio trivia show every Sunday on the way to work.
A whole segment today was dedicated to Star Wars.

"How do you know all this stuff?", he asked.
Me: Weird Al.

He just walked in while I was listening to @StarWarsGirl95's link and says: You've been dying to listen to that song all day, haven't you?
Me: Yup. Now shush.

My high school's prom was yesterday. There's only so many pictures you can post on Facebook of you in the same pose in the same place with the same person.

Yup. Turned in corrections to the psych exam today, which was quick (I did it while watching Star Wars). The rest was turned in Thursday night. So far one B (Statistics, I'm actually pretty pleased with that grade) and two As, the others I won't know until later, but one will be at least an A- and the other should be an A or A-

Yep, just watched that one today too.

Strangely, I know the lyrics to Ebay better than to I Want it That Way.

Not strange at all. I know the lyrics to the Weird Al version, "Yoda", better than "Lola". Every time "Lola" comes on the radio, I'm just like, "YO-DA YO YO YO YO YO-DA".

I hear ya. Slight diff though.

"Lola" was long before your time.
"I Want it That Way" was my favourite song for more than a year, and was the first (and seemingly only) song on my "mixed CD".

I Want it That Way was the jam of my childhood. My friends and I sometimes play it when we go bowling. Afterwards we are baffled by the fact that we don't have a recording contract yet.

Actually, my parents play Classic Rock all the time. We have an intercom system that is attached to a radio, plus in the car so it's always on and that's what I grew up listening to. I can tell you the words to quite a few classic rock songs and at the very least hum them. For instance, "Bye, bye Miss american Pie, drove my Chevy to the levy but the levy was dry. And good old boys were drinkin' whiskey and rye, and singin' 'This'll be the day that I die...'" And "Mama, just killed a man, put a gun against his head, pulled my trigger now he's dead, Mama, life had just begun, but now I've gone and thrown it all away. Mama...oooo...didn't mean to make you cry, If I'm not back again this time tomorrow, carry on, carry on, 'cause nothin' really matters..." All in all though, I prefer Aerosmith. That was most of what I listened to in the car during my senior year of high school.
