Oy we've been getting it too. Knock wood we are getting a break and our river hasn't gone over yet but she's getting so close
I created this thraed to lure Bob back, and he eventually did come back. Granted, he ended up dying as a result of the thraed... But we only said we wanted to find him; nothing was said about keeping him alive afterwards!

The roads east of the canal get like this during severe rain/high tide or high tide/full moon/recent amount of high rain.
This is from post-Sandy (hence the boats everywhere), but I've seen the water like this around the bridge prior to Sandy.
It was more like the 1st picture when I grabbed something from the car before at least.

Every time the river goes over....there is a road under there
Some people in our town don't get garbage cans do tip over in the flooding rain, plastic or not. Those are blue recycling bins floating out there.
