We have had three papers, none of which were bad. One of them was a "Well, it's towards the end of the semester and we've had so many snow days that now I need something to grade" paper, so it's so easy a caveman could do it. And then we've also had multiple choice tests, open book, online, and then we're allowed to make corrections. Easy class.

I like papers. I'd rather have fewer tests and more papers. I think I'm the only one in my marketing class last semester who said "100% essay tests? Goodie!" I'm a better writer than a multiple choice test taker. If the multiple choice questions aren't worded in a completely straightforward manner, sometimes I get confused
Depending on the grader, I'll take essays over multiple-choice too. Some professors you just can't get any leeway from on essays and you never get above a B. I thought I wrote one of my best essays ever last semester for my English final, and ended up getting a D on it. The grading is so subjective.

That is true, that is true. My English professor last semester had us write essays that were politically based. I don't normally express my political opinion nor do I get involved in politics, so for one, it made me pretty uncomfortable. But I was willing to express my opinions in a classroom setting. I swear because my opinions often didn't coincide with his own, he gave me lower grades. I still ended up with an A- in the class because I'm a good writer, but even my classmates noted that he could be cruel if you didn't agree with him. It was a bit hypocritical that he encouraged an opinion but trashed it if it conflicted with his own.

You lucked out with your professor. Having seen the movie, I think there's plenty of inspirational character studies to help you write an interesting paper. I'll bet you'll have fun writing this one. :)
Yup, the requirement was you had to go participate in something, like a study, a play, just something psych-related. And we could make the case for a movie. So I said I could talk about childhood experiences and PTSD (since PL Travis shows symptoms of the disorder) and he said yup.

That was a brilliant idea to highlight PTSD. You'll get an A on this paper, I just know it.

Although I love tomatoes and I like ketchup/catsup, I'm not as big a fan as some. I mostly like my burgers with just mustard and maybe a little mayo, but, you won't ever catch me puttin' it on hot dogs, sausages, brats, etc. It just doesn't belong there IMHO.

What do you eat with your fries?

Ketchup/catsup...and, like some of y'all, BBQ sauce. But, a lot of times I just like 'em fresh, hot, and salty-plain. :)
