....Not sure how to feel about this. But I love documentaries... so I guess it's fitting.

How Many Documentaries Have You Seen?

You love documentaries, and you’ve seen a wide range, from the early classics to the recent Academy Award nominees. While there are gaps in your knowledge, you have a pretty good handle of the genre, and you keep an eye out for new releases from your favorite filmmakers.

(and yes, I AM making a list of ones I haven't seen.)

I'm expecting you all to at the very least check off Waking Sleeping Beauty .
I checked off 9. All the rock-n-roll ones and the one Civil War.

I've seen Supersize Me, An Inconvenient Truth, and March of the Penguins. All of these I watched in school at some point. I just never have watched a lot of documentaries, but when I do I tend to enjoy them. Maybe I should start watching some more of them.

You have watched 3 out of 200 on this list!

Listen, you’re not watching movies to learn. And if you do happen to learn something, you don’t make a point to retain it. You’ve seen a few docs over the years, but they’re not something you seek out. You’ll take fiction over a bunch of talking heads any day.

I've seen Supersize me, heard of the Seven Up movie series and An Inconvenient Truth, and left the room every time Hubby watched a Michael Moore film.

I tend not to watch documentaries unless they 100% support what I already believe.
I am very narrow minded. No jeers necessary - I already know it.

I got 3/200 on the list as well. I watched Supersize Me in school, and I've watched Bully and Trekkies on my own. I've probably seen more on that list and don't remember them. I'd probably rather watch fiction

I would have aced this if there were ESPN 30 for 30 docs on the list.

It depends on the topic for me. If it's something that I'm very strongly for, I'll only watch my point of view because the other point of view would just end up making me angry. I understand the other side's argument, but I know I'm not going to change my opinion or agree with them, so what's the point?

Understandable. I tend not to watch documentaries unless I'm really into the subject. Some of them just me off (coughBlackfishcough) so I just choose not to raise my blood pressure. All the ones on the list I watched (minus the Civil War) we saw on VH1 Classics.

 I'm starting to feel all kinds of shame.

I LOVE documentaries. Give me something I don't know much about, or only vaguely know about, I'll give it a try. I learn a lot.

And the ESPN 30 for 30 is a fantastic series, @acishere Did you see the Tanya Harding one? I still want to whack her in the face with a shovel. :cautious:

If there's too much sauce it ruins pizza for me, chunks or not. Same for ketchup with hots dogs, brats, etc.

Although I love tomatoes and I like ketchup/catsup, I'm not as big a fan as some. I mostly like my burgers with just mustard and maybe a little mayo, but, you won't ever catch me puttin' it on hot dogs, sausages, brats, etc. It just doesn't belong there IMHO.
