Thelma and Louise don't go outside either. We've had coyotes in the neighborhood, and one of our cats disappeared a few years before we got Thelma and Louise, so I just never let them out. They don't seem to mind a bit. They love to sit in the windows and scold the birds though.

We have coyotes in our backyard, too. We back right up to a field, so we have all kinds of wildlife here.

Haven't seen any in a while, but we always keep a close eye on her while we let her outside, especially at night when they are active.

Belle complains if there are no birds to look out. I'm like, "Cat, what do you expect me to do about that?" We have a fox, farm cats, a groundhog, snakes...it's a jungle

Though why they couldn't take care of the chipmunks that chewed the wires under my car (yes, that's what happened to it!) is beyond me.

Chip and Dale were just showing you that they love you!

Just give them an EXTRA tight hug next time you see them at the parks!

That's probably the issue...I haven't gone to see them in years. Actually, I rarely see the characters anymore. Alice ran up to me last time in WDW right after the Superbowl and asked if the Mad Hatter made my hat. I told her yes. Genie snuck up behind me and gave me a hug a few trips back (in my terms, I guess that's about a year and a half:rolleyes:) In DCA I saw Dug for some odd reason. I think cause I didn't have a picture with him and I was happy to be there.

Some love stranding me at home...not that I was going to go anywhere anyway, but the option should have been there! Not to mention that's $550 down the drain.

I gave up a car a few years ago, and I don't regret it at all...

I do miss my first car though...one of these...wish I'd never sold it.

A punch buggy! A little odd thing my dad and I still do...we look for the beetles, count them up, and see who saw more that day. Road trips are interesting.

I really don't want to get rid of my car at this point. It's a 2001 Oldsmobile Aurora, Sports suspension, V8 engine, interior leather. It has many issues (Sunroof no longer works, CD player done, but I have an iPod adapter, randomly tells me there's low oil pressure and low engine coolant) but it's fun to drive. If it goes, I get the Oldsmobile Bravada (SUV) which isn't as fun to drive. That, and it was the car that got wrecked in my accident. Good thing it was that car, though, the Aurora would have been totalled!

Giving up a car here is not an option. If you want to go to a decent store for clothes, the closest if half an hour away. Once again another win for small town Wisconsin! :p

Same deal here. Zoning laws. Prevents sprawl, but also makes a car necessary, at least where I live. Some of my friends who live 10 minutes from me walk. Though I can get to a Target in 10 minutes, a shopping center/movie theater in 15, down to Towson for a bigger mall/small city in 20 minutes, Baltimore City in 30-35 minutes. I refuse to drive down in Baltimore City. For the time being, at least, if I need to get down there without my parents, I can take the light rail train.

I'm sorry, but Maryland is just a backwards state. I can't stand it.

Too bad my kid is there... <grin>

I'm thinking about putting in a swimming pool in my backyard. Just a small, above ground pool. Should be a nice way to cool off on hot summer days.

School system is good. Not everywhere, but we rank up there with Massachusetts as a state. I partially say because Towson University has one of the best teaching programs (though the rest of that school...ugh. I could have gotten a free ride there, but was warned against going there) and a lot of our teachers come from there. There are definitely problems...but I consider myself fortunate to have been in that school system.

I sadly have to agree. So many weird laws/stuff I don't agree with. Zoning is annoying. Just ask my father:p. That, and we have cameras at stoplights to prevent you from running them. They do absolutely no good. I love the culture of living in Baltimore (went to an Orioles game and came home to eat steamed crabs...yup). I'm not so fond of the air quality, the allergies, the laws, the weather...
