Thundering here. My dog absolutely hates thunder. She gets so scared she shakes like a motorboat. If someone doesn't hold her, she'll try to go under a bed or hide somewhere else. She's just out of sorts and doesn't know what to do when it's thundering. Cause, you know, thunder has hurt her so many times before.

My uncle's dog is very afraid of thunder. They found that having one of those thunder blanket things works really well for her. Ever tried it?

Most dogs cower and shake like jello during thunderstorms. They think it's the zombie apocalypse.

As StarWarsGirl95 mentioned, the thunder blankets help some dogs. It makes them feel more secure. We bought one last year, but it was after the rainy season, so it will be given another try this spring.

Is that Alabama? You have some spectacular beaches. How far is that from you?

Good gawd I heard stories but haven't seen it. Wow! What does it cost??

My neighbor bought a new grill (you know, the couple who doesn't work? Yeah, I'm not bitter) and they're apparently going away for the day tomorrow. He asked me to "watch his grill" for the day, if I can. Not the house, mind you, just the grill. I don't plan on being home at all tomorrow. Watch your own damn grill.

A neighbor a few houses down bought a motorcycle. I'm certain he walked into the show room and said "which is the loudest, most obnoxious bike you got? ILL TAKE IT" and I'm very glad that he didn't buy a helmet.

It's like they're competing for aye hole of the month award.

There's a strong possibility they will still be paying off that grill in 2042.

April standings don't count for squat, but I subscribe to the theory that every game .
Last April 13 the division leaders were Atlanta, St. Louis, SF, Boston, Detroit, and Oakland. All but SF ended the season as the division winner. But I'm sure it's not like that most years.

The only team absolutely guaranteed to stay on top is the Brewers. They're unbeatable.

The high for tomorrow has gone from 40 to 35. :grumpy:

Wednesday I'm going on a field trip to Devils Lake for my geography class. It's a high or 56 up there with few showers. I don't want to be hiking bluffs in jeans, but it's too cold for shorts. Can't it be like a few years ago when it was 80 in April? Just for Wednesday at least.

About 3 hours drive.

The Alabama, Florida panhandle area has some beautiful "sugar sand" beaches. I have been spoiled all my life with them.
Those are the beaches I go to most often (especially near Sandestin FL) and I've never lived anywhere near them. The Atlantic beaches even in FL just aren't the same as the Gulf Coast.

So true.
Sandestin is a nice area...usually not too overrun with the "springbreakers" type crowds. right in between PCB and Ft Walton. The picture I posted was actually taken at Pensacola Beach right down the road.
