It's the Canadian way.

We boo A-Rod though.
Everyone boos him. Yankee fans boo him. Deservedly so.
To your credit, @JenniferS , I don't mind Toronto fans at all. They clap when they do something well, but other than that they are always polite and don't try to take over the stadium, like some fans I could name...
Well it is baseball, so they must be polite under Canadian law. Hockey is when you have to be careful of Canadian fans.:cautious:

I think Yankees fans boo A-rod.

Yankees fans are the worst. I've only been to one Yankees-Orioles games where they didn't try to take over the stadium, and that was the Cal Ripken tribute game where there were too many Orioles fans there to allow that (not to mention all the Yankees Suck cheers). That is the loudest game I have ever been to. My ears were ringing the next day.

Other pretty good fans include Pittsburg, Nats, Tampa Bay, and Detroit fans.

A hockey stick is a mightier weapon than a baseball bat .... At least in the hands of a Canadian.

Except in 1992 & 1993 - you know, the years the Jays won the World Series, baby!

And oh yeah, the Leafs suck. Brendan Shanahan or no.

We imploded last year, after very high pre-season expectations.
Fingers crossed for a better year.
No offense to those who predict in the preseason, but I think it's not a great way to gage how well a team will do. There are too many other factors that can help determine a season. I mean, this season is already plagued with injuries, so that throws everything. Plus you have trades midseason, player who come out of nowhere, player who come up from the minors...that sort of thing. Not that it's 100% bad, but I don't think it's wonderful.

I'd rather see you guys up there than Boston or New York. Tampa Bay or you guys if we can't be up there.

You haven't met a Phillie fan if you think the Yankees are the worst. I will never root for a Philly team after the behavior I saw from them.

I have. They weren't very happy the last time they came to Baltimore...Yankees fans are just REALLY bad and I have to deal with them all the time.

Incidentally, I'm also a Nats fan. I don't have the die hard loyalty to them that I have for the Orioles, but I like them. So I cheer against Philly. LA Dodgers are my third choice.

I think we can all agree that the Jacksonville Jaguars have the most diehard fans in all of sports. Those fans are dedicated to their team. Always sold out, never embarrassed to be a fan. True pride all around.

Oh wait... I'm being told that this is the exact opposite of reality....... carry on.

I was comparing my time at a Philly home game with my time at a Yankee home game. Yankee home games I have attended I would considered an environment I be fine taking a son/daughter to. The Phillies game was a drunken, vulgar language fest. I think the beer prices and the difficulty to tailgate in the Bronx made a huge difference too probably.

Leaf fans are the most die-hard.
Sold out. Every game. Year after year.

Haven't won the cup since 1967.
Haven't even made the play-offs 8 of the last 9 seasons.

And oh yeah, the number one most financially successful NHL franchise.

No need to put a quality team on the ice, when every game is a sell-out and merchandise flies off the rack!

Loyalty is voluntarily wearing the same hat as Justin Bieber.
