Am I the only Sageteer who has used a real photo of myself as my avatar?
I have no idea what any of the rest of you look like.

Edit - Oops, forgot that @englanddg recently posted that great dancing video.

I haven't posted a photo publicly. I did post one to another member on this forum through PM but then deleted it from my photo bucket account.

I'd love to know what a 6'3 trash can looks like. :P

And yeah Jennifer I think you're the only one to have your photo as an avatar amongst us!

You guys, I just has a wonderful experience. Let me finish up my pic stitching and I'll tell you all about it. <3

So I was out...and couldn't quite decide on what to do. Until I saw this while going over a bridge:

It ended at my favorite place besides disney, the flower gardens. So I went in! (I love having a membership there!)

The spring theme is "rhythm and bulbs" and every room has different types of music playing. Obviously my favorite was the hippy room, with grateful dead and jimi Hendrix playing...I'm pretty sure I know what I was in a previous life.

But then...then THIS happened:

IT WAS MEANT TO BE! I was supposed to be here tonight. This room had Kermit singing "rainbow connection" and honest to god if I had all of your phone numbers I would have been calling and blubbering on.

This bad boy is hanging in the main atrium. It's all glass. Easily 2,000 pounds of it.

And thus concludes our tour this evening. You guys and gals are the best.

I'm not terribly comfortable posting pictures of myself or family members other than the cat (though I think my brother and father have sneaked into some photos, but I don't point them out), but I'm short, kind of stocky, a brunette...you get the general idea.

I'm fortunate to live in a city with a world renown flower garden and museums. However the night life here is crap, unless you like to bar hop every night.

It has it's goods and bads, like every city. If you're ever in my hood though, drop me a line, I'll show you around. :)

Could be worse, my city's (yes, it's classified as a city) nightlife includes local house parties held by college students. I've never, nor do I plan to, gone to one. My nightlife is either hanging out with my friends or bowling. But most of the time I'm here talking to you wonderful people.

So, in other words - you're beautiful. Just the way God made you!
Haha, yes, I am natural (on a daily basis, very little or no makeup is on, I swear my skin is healthier for it, though I understand that's not always possible, 'specially once your skin starts aging) and although it's taken a long time, I'm starting to become happy in my body and try to keep it healthy while at the same time not obsessing over it like my one friend who brags about how much weight she lost (she went from thin to thinner; I will never be either) and still never seems happy. Control what you can, don't worry about what you can't, love what's great. That's my theory at least. Keep the body healthy but don't stive for perfection. It will never happen. And don't be afraid of having a Whopper every now and then.

I prefer BK over McDs. In fact on the way back from WDW at Orlando International I skip McDs while the rest of my family goes there in favor of Sbaro pizza. That location had better not close...I missed it last time because we went to Chili's Express for a more leisurely meal since our flight was late. :( If I'm going to eat the calories, I prefer a Whopper. Or chicken McNuggets. My brother has stopped letting me steal one from his 10 piece and last time ate every one of them plus all his fries. This from a child who a year ago could barely eat 6...here come the teen years!

You know that nightlife I was talking about? Well, it's 10pm, and I'm ready for bed. Friday nights are just not my thing.

Actually, back in December I woke up on 6:30am on Friday and stayed up until 6:30am on Saturday. So I guess tonight is just not my thing.

I was never a big Friday night go outer. Too tired from the week. I needed a good night's sleep Friday night and sleeping in Saturday morning to be prepared for Saturday night. And I wasn't a drinker either. Just someone that appreciates sleep!!

I posted a thread with pictures from when I was little - I'm a grown up version of what's in those photos. Let me see if I can find it...

Sleep is a wonderful thing. I would sleep for 10-12 hours every day if I could.

My parents once had a leak in a pipe in their kitchen floor and the plumber had to jackhammer through the concrete foundation to get to the pipe. I slept through it. My mom actually woke me up to make sure I was ok. I can't sleep like that anymore - the slightest noise wakes me up. The kids are older now but I still pop up and run to whichever one made a peep as soon as they call me.

The batteries in the fire alarm in my room were almost dead one night, so the alarm went off and I slept through it while my dad changed it. I can't do that anymore, now if it goes off I feel like I died. Literally, the last time it went off I was in deep sleep and I thought that I died. I was so out of it.

My mom used to say I'd sleep through a tornado.
