I just scored 100% on the exam at the end of a mandatory on-line training course here at work. It was on use of social media. There wasn't anything about avatars, smilies, spoilers, or countdown clocks. Just silly stuff about not disclosing confidential information or posting embarrassing photos of colleagues without their permission. :bored:

I used to have to take anti-money laundering classes. I'm an accountant. I didn't have access to cash accounts nor did I have the ability to move funds in any way. The classes were all about what procedures a bank teller should follow. AND we had to go into Manhattan to take them. That was time well spent.

We've had several mandatory on line courses on mostly administrative things that come up rarely or never. The exam questions are usually pretty easy though. Like the written part of driver's license tests, asking whether you should

a) stop
b) run over the little old lady
c) use your turn signal and then run over the little old lady

I had actually planned to display (some sort of) avatar on the anniversary of my one-year membership (May 27, 2013) in WDW Magic. Good things come to those who wait. (Ha!)

Actually, I've also been procrastinating. I had a few ideas for one, but am not really sure how to do the whole avatar thing; I never had an avatar before. This is the first and only forum I've joined. (I do know a few guys who are IT experts, and I'll ask one of them for help before my anniversary date.) You see, I'm fine with computer office programs and all, but I realize I'm moving at a glacial pace, when it comes to anything at all creative.

As full-fledged Sagateers, you're all advanced! I'm still in the "remedial" class, working my way up the ladder from the Contributing Sagateer level.

It's really not all that difficult, but, this ol' cybersaurus knows from where you speak. I was completely clueless myself at the beginning. Now I can do it from my laptop, iPhone, etc. Not gonna' go through the steps here, but, have one a' those guys show ya' (even though I'm proof positive ya' don't hafta' be an IT expert to learn it pretty quick) and once ya' do it a few times, you too will feel like an expert. Seriously, a few times I just snapped a pick of my laptop screen with my iPhone when I found a pic I wanted to use on there and then uploaded them here from my photo album once the non-photo sharing option became available here.
You can DOOO EEEEET! :)
