FB is pretty irritating when people use it mostly to show off.

Agree, lets not forget those annoying "friend hunters". Who add everyone just to boast of their "friend number".

anyway Facebook is being enforced everywhere, that is why I have a very small page for family members and thats all. (facebook as in.. being pushed for integration in a lot of sites, from sports.. to newspapers)

I can't remember if I told you guys about the pottery lesson in my art class. I started making a bowl, but after I finished it, I realized it looked like an ash tray. And no, I do not smoke.

Well, here's the finished product. I used blue gloss, but didn't realize it was this light of a color.

I woke mine up at 4 am...and then put my mom through 14 hours of labor. I was also 8 1/2 pounds.

My brother was a c-section. And lighter. And he was induced. No wonder he's the favorite...

Sounds VERY familiar. Oldest DD (the one gettin' married this weekend ) was a week late and had to be (unlike you, though) induced. They almost sent us home in the early afternoon 'cause DWifey wasn't dilated enough even after all that pitocin. Mom and her were gettin' a bit tired after 18+ hours, so the good doctor took them down and got our little bundle out really quickly with the salad spoons, and only left a tiny bruise on her cheek. Just like you, 8 lbs. 8 ozs....!
Other kiddo, DS, was the 1lb. 4 oz. guy, so c-section was mandatory.
Wanted to do vbac with youngest DD, but, doc said no dice.
Wow. The memories...

Just say "yes", even if it's not.

If I ever get to totally gut a bathroom, I'm putting in a heated floor, a heated towel rack, AND an infrared heat lamp.

Yep, this an AWESOME little BBQ shack just down the road from us about halfway (5 mins.) to the lake. Smokey J's...

you know, one of the things I really envy of americans.. are their BBQ joints!
I was in Houston and my cousin got me to a few of these.. ohh man.. heaven for a meat lover like me!

Ok time to get some sleep. And watch them make Canadian potato child. So far it's the same as ours.

Thats mean for that poor child.. not their fault they had potato heads!

Just looked at next week's weather forecast. Consistently 50, with consistent 60s at the end of the week. I've never been so happy.

One other dear memory with the wedding so close, if y'all don't mind indulging me.
My apologies.

When she was still pretty little, one of the most popular Country songs at the time was "That's My Story and I'm Stickin' to It" by Collin Ray (I believe?).
Anyway, I was sittin' on mine and DWIfey's bed watchin' TV when she walked in with one a' those cloth books that you closed with velcro stuck to her flannel night gown. She stopped, put her hands on her hips and, oh-so-perfectly knowing I was gonna' completely crack the heck up, said...
"That's my story and I'm stickin' to it!"

Good grief, I love my family!

More memories...
I remember when he was first hittin' the charts in the later '70's. We used to listen to a radio station outta' good ol' San Antone, KTSA.
I remember a top 40 countdown with Casey Kasem sayin' his performances were so intense that he had to go backstage and get oxygen between sets.
I'm thinkin', too much meat loaf (not Meat Loaf) will do that to ya'

I had actually planned to display (some sort of) avatar on the anniversary of my one-year membership (May 27, 2013) in WDW Magic. Good things come to those who wait. (Ha! )

Actually, I've also been procrastinating. I had a few ideas for one, but am not really sure how to do the whole avatar thing; I never had an avatar before. This is the first and only forum I've joined. (I do know a few guys who are IT experts, and I'll ask one of them for help before my anniversary date.) You see, I'm fine with computer office programs and all, but I realize I'm moving at a glacial pace, when it comes to anything at all creative.

As full-fledged Sagateers, you're all advanced! I'm still in the "remedial" class, working my way up the ladder from the Contributing Sagateer level.
