Don't know how true this is...but it's plausible.

Sageteers, I am very confused. I read Robin of Loxley's poem and was amused. But, then I read that a number of Sageteers think he's leaving the thread? There were a few farewell references, but I thought that was just for the sake of the poem. April Fool's was yesterday, so I figure all the jokes are over, right?

I'm taking to my Sageteers for an opinion here. For one of my classes, I am to make a PowerPoint on a social studies lesson for any grade. I am choosing 4th grade to do. I was thinking the topic of my lesson would be Geography and Culture in France. I was wondering if that was too broad. What do you guys think?

Also, that's all I was giving for directions (aside from things like 17 slides, etc). Thanks in advance for any help!

It's not too broad for 4th graders. Just show them the France movie at Epcot.

By "culture" do you also mean, for example, local industries such as the Alsace region for wine, and the French Riviera for perfume? Or, do you want the students to focus more on local cuisine and customs, like a regional form of dance? In other words, the geography part is clear, but "culture" may be a bit broad-based in its interpretation. Anyway, that was just my initial reaction to your question.

I was thinking mainly local cuisines and customs type of stuff. Keeping it simple.
