Your backyard is huge! I love it! I have a big deck off the back of my house but an itty bitty yard (which will be used to its fullest this year). However the view from my deck is my neighbors much better maintained and well kept yard and garden, so I don't mind so much. All the fantastic view sights, none of the work! I dig it!

My dog wouldn't know what to do with herself in your yard. Her little doggy brain would explode.

Thank you! :) We are on a half an acre. As you go further East on Long Island the property sizes generally increase. The closer you are to the city the smaller the parcels (generally) are (and the higher the taxes - for less property - for the convenience of being closer to Manhattan!) When we were house hunting hubby wanted a huge yard. After mowing, fertilizing, etc. for over 10 years now he is pretty much over it! Ironically, even with all that space, when my dog gets running he usually runs full speed into a tree. :bored:

The mental image has me LOLing in my office! Poor doggie! (bwuhahahahaha)

And holy crap that road looks like a nightmare. If I had awaken ..awoken? to that this morning I'd have called in sick and crawled back into bed.

So over the cold weather and snow. Thankfully, it's not too bad here today. For now. Subject to change... it always does.

I had no idea how much it helps that they spray pretreating solution on roads in advance of a storm. Nobody expected it to stick. For 3 inches of snow it was quite a hassle.

I think I can actually hear @PUSH and @JenniferS laughing over this.

2 hard boiled eggs, a greek yogurt, a granola bar and a banana. I should be hungry again by 12:45.

Yeah that sounds about right. If I cut down to a small lunch I'm a total Meg by 1 PM and that makes for a long afternoon. So I don't bother. I have a smaller breakfast (granola, usually) and a smaller dinner and get right over myself.

Hence my spinach-meatball pizza. Who knew this could be so good. I think I'm in love. :inlove:

54 here right now, and guess what it feels like. 54!!! A bit later it's supposed to start raining... actually it's supposed to start around noon CST. Then later we are supposed to get a few t-storms. My dog hates t-storms, but I'll take it over snow!
