This was my normally 15 minute commute that took 2 hours and 10 minutes.

Your backyard is huge! I love it! I have a big deck off the back of my house but an itty bitty yard (which will be used to its fullest this year). However the view from my deck is my neighbors much better maintained and well kept yard and garden, so I don't mind so much. All the fantastic view sights, none of the work! I dig it!

My dog wouldn't know what to do with herself in your yard. Her little doggy brain would explode.

Thank you! We are on a half an acre. As you go further East on Long Island the property sizes generally increase. The closer you are to the city the smaller the parcels (generally) are (and the higher the taxes - for less property - for the convenience of being closer to Manhattan!) When we were house hunting hubby wanted a huge yard. After mowing, fertilizing, etc. for over 10 years now he is pretty much over it! Ironically, even with all that space, when my dog gets running he usually runs full speed into a tree.

Yeah this morning. Fun Monday.

Although I did hear Duran Duran's classic hit Hungry Like the Wolf so it wasn't all bad. I may or may not have blasted the radio and sang really loud.

I had no idea how much it helps that they spray pretreating solution on roads in advance of a storm. Nobody expected it to stick. For 3 inches of snow it was quite a hassle.

Yeah that sounds about right. If I cut down to a small lunch I'm a total Meg by 1 PM and that makes for a long afternoon. So I don't bother. I have a smaller breakfast (granola, usually) and a smaller dinner and get right over myself.

Hence my spinach-meatball pizza. Who knew this could be so good. I think I'm in love.

It is sunny and going up to 12 degrees here in Southern Ontario today. That's almost 54 degrees to you, folks.
