Walmartian?
We went into a Buffalo Walmart ONCE a few Christmases ago. Scary! Even the Santa outside was beyond sketchy!
Buffalo. 'Nuff said.I don't frequent Walmart but I've never known Walmart to have Santa's. That could be why a Santa hanging outside Walmart was sketchy.
My daughter's sociology professor gives her class a three question quiz every week on the reading they were suppose to do before coming to class. Even though he's been doing this since the third week of classes, some of the students still don't bother to study or even do the reading. The quizzes are strictly extra credit, so they must not care about getting A's. You would think since probably half of them get the HOPE Scholarship and have to maintain a certain average that they would try harder. This guy's tests are very hard and getting an A is difficult, so you would think they'd jump at the chance for extra credit. They also have a 10 question quiz online every week. It was quite a shock for some of them when his first test was 50 questions with a time limit.
All of my daughter's classes have an online component. It's ridiculous. They have to check cougarview daily as, at any time, the professor may give an added assignment. She's gotten added assignments on the weekend many times. I feel for the students who work full-time jobs getting home late and finding a new assignment due the next day.
Blaaaaaargh!
It's like one step forward and two steps back with this thraed, isn't it?
That comment was indeed profound. It's hard to keep up with this thread, particularly if you can only drop by a while in the morning and a few hours in the evening. I'm constantly playing catch-up, enjoying the quips and comments through multiple posts, by the time I log on.
Although a number of posts occur during the day, I think the night owls on this thread often set the stage for fun topics and multiple comments.
Hence, I was thinking that there are specific levels of Sageteers. For example, we have the esteemed "Principal" Sageteers (those who can join in frequently), and then we have the very interested (but unable to join in as frequently) "Contributing" Sageteers. I believe I fall within the 2nd category. Are there any other categories I've missed?
I caught that!Megging in the Name Of....Meg you I won't do what you told me, Meg you I won't do what you told me...
Im glad we only got a dusting of snow last night. All the roads were just mostly wet with a few black ice spots and stupid people.
I went looking for this discussion and I can't find it....perhaps it was wiped? And now for something completely different!!! Over on the News, Rumors and "What you talkin about Willis" board, Spirit commented today about how successful his latest thread was and implying that he alone was holding this entire site together with his thread post count. He's at 5813. Push is trashing him!
I wonder though, what happens if by some strange chance we find Bob Saget?
Don't forget the Anonymous Sageteers slaving away in cubicles at the head office in Wisconsin, who write most of @PUSH's material.Hence, I was thinking that there are specific levels of Sageteers. The lurkers. They read the thraed, but don't contribute. They know how much snow we all have, our medical issues, our vacation schedules, how often we BM, etc. but they don't contribute.
Show yourselves!!! We know you're out there!!!

I couldn't find it either. Only one post that said he had 400,000 page views.I went looking for this discussion and I can't find it....perhaps it was wiped?
only 544post untill we reach 35000 !!!
I always enjoyed those booths after whatever was replaced by Sounds Dangerous that did this.
This video though is freaking me out less than a minute in. It's like what you hear before you become the victim in a Law & Order SVU episode.
Heather Feather sounds like someone in the "adult entertainment" category.Yeah, LOL
It's really not for everyone. There's plenty to choose from, I'm quite partial to Heather Feather (maker of that video) and a few others. I tend to not like the male spoken ones, though... so maybe that has something to do with it?
