Okay, I'll fess up. I don't always get the smilies.
What does the quoted one mean. Is it like ROFL? (which I had to Google the first time my kids ROFLCOPTER'd me.)

Edit to add - Hey, if you hover your mouse over the smilie, it tells you what it means. So used to using the iPad and not having this option.

Yep, that one is "hilarious" 'cause your post gave me a darn good laugh!!! :hilarious: :)

Makes perfect sense. After all, as you have said before, you were the little girl that would rather play cowboys and indians than play fruffy princess...! ;) :)

That's what happens when a hubby takes a long nap on a Saturday afternoon. I get supplies for more projects. You snooze you loose.

Yep. I never understood why girls like to play dolls and house either. But when I want to look like a Princess I can rock a gown and heels, but give me my Levi's and Frye riding boots any day. When I was small girls had toy vacuumed, brooms, kitchens. We bought my DD a Little Tykes tool workbench as a preschooler 'cause she loved playing with the tools. By the time they taught angles in school that girl could cut angles for trim and sink a molly in a wall. :geek:

I'll take the blame for this. (Being Canadian, we are happy to take the blame, anyway.)
I suspect it was my "coffee" talk which started it.

No, no, no! It's NEVER our fault around here! If things were misconscrewed it's Meg's fault!!!
Remember...ALWAYS MEG!!!!! :D :D :D ;) :)
Since my X-wife was Canadian (she became a US citizen years ago) I still think that I am entitled to blame Canadians for many of my problems. I try real hard to blame Meg, but it isn't always sincere, eh? ;)

On the iPad, you can hold your finger down on the smiley and it tells you what it means as well.

I spent two hours at med express today to be looked at sideways be the doctor and told "you have allergies." :cautious:

I woke up with the right side of my face swollen, my right nostril feeling like something was jammed into it and my right sinus...and I couldn't stop sneezing. I sneezed so hard I heard my spine pop.

Never had this before, it's totally new to me. I told my mom about it and she brushed it off as "oh yeah, the first spring after I turned thirty the same happened to me" and that was it.

...I'm making a lemon poppyseed cake to drown my sniffling sorrows in.

Getting old sucks.
