What's the difference? One was a Tim Horton's and one wasn't?

We're "friendlier" up here in Canada, eh?
The Tim Horton's I went to didn't have that kind of service.

You can't beat the "Here come the Irish" though!
The same thing happened to me, but with a non-Disney cartoon. My class was learning about igneous rocks, and the teacher made us write a story about a scarecrow who wanted to know what igneous rocks were. The ironic part, which I didn't find out until later, thanks to some trading cards? I had watched an AMV of the song "Gotta Dance, Gotta Whistle, Gotta Sing" from Magic Adventures of Mumfie. The series revolves around a elephant who goes on an amazing adventure, and has a scarecrow become his caretaker. The AMV in particular was of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Mumfie was played by Pinkie Pie in that AMV, and her caretaker's name was Igneous Rock. Due to that story (and my sister telling me I acted too much like him-or maybe it was due to his funny moments in the episodes I watched?), Scarecrow became my favorite character. I didn't bring this up because besides me and my sister, only one adult at the school who remembers every animated 90's show in existence knew about it before Mumfie's White Christmas came out on DVD. And then there are the kids who saw videos of it in my YouTube favorites, because they like being nosy...
No, he's a special little snowman!
I did it, and I'm my favorite character, Anna.
That snowman is committing suicide!

Everyone is sue happy nowadays. Sorry to hear it scared the "carp" out of you.We went to watch our nieces volleyball game this morning. I can't ever remember seeing kids so passive while playing sports. They weren't keeping score and, although they were all wearing knee pads, not one of 'em ever went down for a dig. I remember us being all about gettin' in there and givin' it our all and comin' home dirty, bruised and bloody. Even when premie DS was playin' soccer and was a head shorter than everyone else on the field he was palyin' goal keeper because he was so aggressive and fearless. He would run out to meet and cover the ball when the other bigger kids would retreat back and then get deked at the goal. Of course, he got kicked a lot using that technique. One time square in the face that scared the carp outta' us and everyone else at the game - you should have heard the crowd. He got it right between his nose and upper lip but ended up finishin' the game after sittin' out for a bit.
Is it just me, or was it just today for those kiddos, or what's up with that...?!
