Back when I was teaching, we didn't have a cafeteria, so the kids ate in the classrooms. I was amazed at how many of them thought it was OK to throw their yogurt cartons or banana peels and apple cores into my TRASH can that I had to put up with the rest of the day.
Chances are I would have too! I always saw the two things as fairly equal in definition, if not nomenclature.

Where I work we're not supposed to put that sort of garbage in our office trash cans.

I suddenly have a mighty need to purchase one of these commemorative pins.
I wonder if they will also make one for "the year of the refurbs"

Isn't his french cousin named "Garbage"?
I would suggest names, but then.. my french is limited to what I learned from a cartoon.

Well, young folks, my brain is completely exhausted from coming up with all these worthy quotes. I'm calling it a night. 11 PM on a Saturday night... my how life changes over time. :grumpy:
good night!

I think that Walt really likes to snuggle in a bevy of pillows. Good for him. He's taking a break.

Indeed, Walt loves to be comfy. He loves to hang out in my DD's bed, it has bumper pillows, a memory foam mattress, lovely feather pillows and throws. If you look, we have bought a throw blanket to cover her quilt during the day.

I went to a start up private school in 7th and 8th grades. There was no cafeteria...we all ate in the classroom.
We had no option but to throw the garbage into the trash can.

The cool thing about that was that I learned so much in those two years that the next four years were a breeze...excepting Latin and Pre-Calculus.

Latin was the smartest thing I ever took in the 9th Grade...it made English and Spanish classes make so much more sense. I don't think they even offer Latin any more, which is such a shame.

Perhaps that's why I'm still such a stickler for proper grammar and spelling?
