I've entire the past few hours coming up with a felt bunny plush and I can't decide on what pattern I want to use and what time if stitching I want to do.

In other words,I wasted two hours and a half dozen pieces of felt.

Don't forget, clocks go ahead an hour tonight (technically tomorrow) at 2am! Hopefully it won't take too long to get used to .
these hour shifts always wrecks me for weeks.. D:

My clock says 11:21. Which means it's sort of 12:21. And I am exhausted, and have to get up at 8:30, so I am out for the night. Later peeps.

P.S. Forgot to mention - sold another 4 houses today. That's an even dozen for the past 8 days. Hopefully another one or two tomorrow.

Wow, are you some kind of magician? You sell that many houses??

Well I'm back in the New York groove!!

Note to self - when someone else is picking up the tab for airfare, Virgin America main cabin select is the way to go!!!!
You could have just moved over to the New York New York casino to say that. You didn't have to go home.

And Virgin America and JetBlue will ruin other airlines for you. It is hard to go back to United afterwards.

I thought Jetblue was the discount bid-war airline...the plane to choose if you want to unexpectedly camp in the everglades....

Do they still offer bag lunches?

Heh, heh . . . I can relate. I've flipped out over some bungled sewing projects before. I rarely take on any new sewing projects now, as that seems to help me maintain the pittance of sanity I have remaining.

If I can't fly JetBlue I don't fly. It is, or at least was, a discount airline with limited destinations, but the planes are roomier, leather seats, TV in every seat. Snacks service and have a good (with one exception) on time service record. They have been known to screw up once in awhile, but, nothing that I have ever experienced. I can't remember the name of the airline that nosedived into the everglades, never to be seen again, but it wasn't JetBlue.

A few years ago I flew to Vegas on U.S. Air. I'm a big fellow and for some reason they put the three largest men together in a three seat section. The most uncomfortable flight I have ever been on. I will never fly U.S. Air again.

I'm baaack sort of! :) I had an illness that came on Tuesday afternoon and by that evening I had gone downhill fast. I got out of bed, well I fell out of bed because I couldn't move my legs and couldn't get off the floor. I was taken by ambulance to the hospital where they found I had a severe internal infection with a high fever and the swelling affected my lower limbs causing sciatic nerve pressure. I was released late last night after the fever broke and the infection was under control. (I pretty much remember 20% of the last three days. :() I have to use a walker for now until I can regain strength to walk on my own. Slow road back but I'm on it and my engine is running. :geek: My daughter logged in to play a few games and read but with an IV in one wrist and an oxygen monitor on the other I haven't been on until now. Soo I will probably be giving out some likes while catching up.

Oh my goodness. So glad you are on the road to recovery. Be Well. {{{Hugs}}}

It was a ValuJet plane that crashed in the Everglades. ValuJet later merged with some other airline and became AirTran, which is now owned by Southwest.

We used to be huge Southwest fans simply because of price. Also, loved having two free checked bags per person. But then, Southwest prices caught up to, or exceeded every one else.

Flew AirTran once. Hated the seats. Hated paying for each checked bag.

But now that we've flown JetBlue, we are hooked! Love the roomier seats. Love the t.v. in every seat. Can live with one free bag per person.

I met my father for dinner and I am still confused by this logic:

It is my fault that I am not in contact with my half sister.

I have asked for her number from him only to get, "Um I don't have it memorized. I need to look for it." He has my cell phone, he can give it to her. Has she asked for it? I have no clue. I tried Facebook for both her and her daughter. What else am I supposed to do? I tried on my end.

Sorry. I have a Dad like that too.

At times my Sis and I who live a few states apart still need some distance. It is good for our relationship that we distance. Dad loves to run interference. As he has aged it gets more whiny with added please please please, for me added embellishment. Me just avoiding talking for a while just gives me time to move on over having to hash out something that will go away over time. Dad will do weird things when my kids (young adults) are over by him, like dial up my niece and call mine to the phone saying Sally really really wants to talk to you, nobody is that stupid but he believes he is clever. My Sis is an Attorney and a very good one. Sis has the desire to WIN at all costs and can morph conversations/arguments into holy wars.

Good luck with your Sis, Niece and the Dad. Family is hard work and the reason for my signature.

Sorry for the delay responding - had to get to bed early last night to Polar Bear Plunge today.

Giving up tenure is very risky. Promises were made and broken by our administration. "Improve student enrollment in music classes to a point where we have to hire a chorus instructor." I got 80+ kids to sign up for chorus. We had an overall increase in music enrollment of 40%, 380 kids to 530 kids. Those numbers would dictate that we would move from 3 teachers to at least 3.5 teachers. Nope. And as a result of not increasing staff, we have to cut other programs (can't cut the chorus because 80 kids signed up) and combine other classes - my favorite part of this is the class of 37 drummers that the administration proposes. This is just the latest in 8 years of a similar approach (across two administrations, the last one of which was sued by the Music Boosters over another issue). A person can only be treated unprofessionally and with total disrespect for their work for so long. There are other schools out there. Hopefully I can find one with integrity.

Blah! I don't get messing with programs that are not broken and humming along. I have found as a BOE member that Administration offers up to the Alter Music Programs quicker than any other activity or athletic program. I've sat and for budget preview sessions where administration brings to the table cuts to music and big increases for athletics. Music always has a higher co-pay, funding from parent/boosters than anything we offer. But historically music takes big hits when budgets get sliced and diced so quitting is so risky when giving up tenure.

Worst was when at a PTO meeting I was attending the Principal announced to the dismay of parents that there would not be a Spring Musical, that there was no funding in the budget for it this year by the board. At my instance when we built that budget in the Spring I asked for separate line items for the Musical because the Principal found ways to stick his fingers in the Musical budget and hard to track those expenses. He must have not made the correlation that I was sitting at the PTO round table as I was both a board member but a very active parent. I bit my tongue and said nothing but blindsided the jerk at a BOE the next night. He tried to defend that there were BETTER things to spend that money on like tutoring, field trips, etc. Musical went on as budget for. I was so angry.

As usual, oh, teacher above all others, that is correct. I knew it started with a V, but I couldn't get the old brain to fill in the blanks.:banghead: Thanks.:)
