Gotta love getting a FB message from my 10 year old niece, that her dad (my youngest brother) has been rushed to the hospital in an ambulance.

His wife and another brother are with him, so I have been requested to keep my cold germs at home, unless they need me.

Apparently, he passed out at the dentist office. Doing an ECG as we speak.

On the plus side, thanks to socialized medicine, $65 for an ambulance trip, and nothing else.
(I won't even make the "unless he croaks" joke.)

All of the Vegas avatars (old and new references) are creative and fun! The retro Vegas avatars, in particular, are great. Love the old Frontier sign from @acishere; the Rat Pack from @donaldtoo; the old Sands from @Lucky, and the iconic, Welcome To Las Vegas sign from @unkadog and @Goofyernmost. This is an amusing way to start off my Friday morning!

Thanks! :)
When I think Vegas I tend to think "vintage"...! ;)

Vintage, as in what looks to be about a '57 T-bird that the not-so-vintage Robert Urich is leanin' on. ;)
When I was a kid, I used to play the "TRUE LOVE" game with my name and Robert Urich. 114%, Baby!

And then, coincidentally, I named my oldest son Spenser, after his character in Robert B. Parker's series of books. I thought I had picked such an original name, until he started JK. Turns out Spenser/Spencer was the only duplicate name in his class until high school. Go figure.

I always liked Robert Urich. He just always seemed like a great guy in real life, too. Although, He did play a bit of a more wayward character in Lonesome Dove, and he got what was comin' to him, you were still a bit sympathetic.
Sad when he passed.

Not tryin' to "cop out", but, It was just so many of the thraeds. I used to venture out and even post in some of them once in a while. Now, it just seems so pointless, 'cause the vast majority of 'em devovle into a poopslide almost immediately.
I still venture out occasionally. Just to see who @Goofyernmost is poking. That guy can hold his own with all those "meanies".

Yes. Yes, he can.
Personally, though, he can have my share. I'm no shrinking violet my any means, but internet arguing, to me anyway, is just a MASSIVE waste of time and effort...after all, it's the "anonymous" internet.
I prefer to just be silly and have a laugh. Most of the time, anyway... :cautious: ;) :)
