OK so when I was at my meeting, I went to take my jacket off and when I brought my right hand down I smacked it on the top of the chair next to mine. On the metal part. The back of my hand is swollen and bruised, just below the knuckles for my pinky and ring finger. It's actually painful to type and use a mouse. Who injures themselves taking off their jacket? Seriously - who does that??!

I had a cousin on my ex's side that was was a grandmother by 26. She got pregnant at 12 yr old. The apple didn't fall from from the tree. Her daughter got pregnant at 12. My cousin was 31 when her daughter graduated college.

Just curious, since we all seem to post morning-day-night here. What does everyone do for a living? I know a few Sageteers are students...

I'm a secretary/receptionist/office manager/ copy and file clerk/phone operator. I kinda do everything in the office that the boss doesn't do.

It's easier for me to post here when I'm at the office... typically because I'm posting while on hold with someone on the phone, or dealing with paperwork nightmares and need a break

At home I get too distracted... mainly by House of Cards.

I'm in public relations. Which lets me log on for the same reasons as you. Either I'm on the phone, like right now, with a client that keeps putting me on hold, or I get writers block and need 10 minutes to clear my head. Yesterday the writers block was particularly bad...

I somehow managed to get through all these posts and watch all my shows. I however do not remember what happened during most of them. I have to repeat season 1 of House of Cards for the benefit of others so it isn't really holding my full attention. It is sort of helping remember who is who. All those old white guys kind of blend together after a while.

I was playing with Barbies...I didn't see Star Wars until I was 14. My mom saw it with me. My dad still hasn't seen it.

I started collecting baseball cards when I was 9. I still have them. But I don't play with them. They'd be worth a lot more now if I had never played with them. As a fourth-grader I just wasn't much into financial planning.

Besides bein' a Sageteer , I'm a designer for an architectural firm. Our regular hours are Mon.-Thurs. 8a-6p, Fri. 8a-1p.
I rarely post during the working day except at lunch. I sometimes post in the morning, but, the vast majority of my Sageteering happens after work or on the weekends.
But, a Sageteer is NEVER off duty.

I forget what chapter I'm on. That auto play blends them together. Last one I saw was the one where Underwood makes Zoe call her dad for father's day. Not good moment to end watching for a few days on...

So...heading up to my brother's in a few minutes to celebrate my mom's 94th. She actually doesn't get a birthday this year since she's a leap year baby, so technically it's her 23 1/2th birthday this week.

I worked in the restaurant business for 35 years, took time off to be a full time mom. My sister owns a tavern so I'll be back to work there in April.
