I've never been out of the country, unless you count the Atlantic Ocean. (Nope, I couldn't find @Megalodumb).

Me either. Unless you count the Atlantic, Pacific, the Gulf of Mexico, and just across the Mexican border itself a few times. We and our kiddos used to go to a girls orphanage in Nueva Laredo around Christmas with a group from our church to bring them food and supplies in person once a year. The rest of the year we sent things. Then, that whole thing got cancelled by the Bishop due to all the drug violence. Bummer.
Been as close to Canada as 5 miles south of the border in a town called Warroad, Minnesota to visit the Marvin Window factory. The only other biggish business in that town was a company that made hockey sticks.
Anyway, never been overseas. Someday...! ;) :)

Warroad MN has been in the news lately. It's the hometown of T.J. Oshie, the US Olympic hockey player who won the game v. Russia in a shootout the other day.

Me either. I've been to the Bahamas, but I was little and don't remember it at all.
So... you're saying you have been out of the country?? Because you contradicted yourself by saying "me either" and then going on to say how you've visited another country.

It doesn't count; I don't remember it and I don't think we needed a passport

I'm 51 yrs. old and have yet to go on one a' those vacations where all you do is lay in a hammock all day between two palm trees on a warm tropical beach and snap your fingers every time you want another adult beverage with a little umbrella in it.
DWifey and I need to fix that...STAT!!!

But the Bahamas is a separate country, and you've been there. Therefore you have been to another country. Saying it doesn't count because you can't remember it is like Rob Ford saying smoking cocaine was okay because he did it in a drunken stupor.

Fine, whatever. I have been to another country. But I don't remember it, so as far as I am concerned, it's like I wasn't there. My parents hated it and won't go back.

Save up, go to Hawaii. Preferably save up and go to Aulani. No one goes to Aulani and dislikes it. You're welcome :P
