Yep that was Walt a few minutes ago. The snow whipped up under his lab fur and made it stand up Frozen.
If classes aren't cancelled tomorrow morning when I wake up, I'll make a judgement call, most likely staying home. I'm not risking my safety, along with others' for two hours worth of class.

I was going to do that, but lack of stuff on tv over the holidays led to starting the series earlier than planned. Everything is back on now though so I've gone a while without watching. Maybe everything taking off for the Olympics will get me back into it.

Steven Tyler dancing in the crowd during the Daft Punk song was hilarious.
I'm also disappointed Daft Punk isn't trying to mime an acceptance speech every time they win.
I'm disappointed when they win, period.

NBC is covering the Olympics here and I don't watch much on NBC so at least I'll have choices depending on what they are serving up on the Olympics in the evening.
I enjoy the summer Olympics more but there are some events I follow with the winter, some actually make me laugh, what people invented to entertain themselves in the cold winter months.

My girlfriend is still mad about the time at a music festival she sat through a Phoenix concert because Daft Punk was supposed to show up. Instead the special guest was R Kelly. I left the group to see another band so their angry texts made me feel much better about my choice.
If they would've believed hard enough, they could've flown out of there.

A lot of the other networks are holding off some of their shows during the Olympics. Cable is the only place where nothing is getting moved. So that only leaves me with True Detective and Justified. I'll watch a lot of the Olympics, but I need a break from sports so I think I can fit a handful of Abbey episodes during the Olympics too.

PS- Daft Punk wins again. I really don't see the craze behind them. Get Lucky is the most annoying song of the year.

Get Lucky is overplayed. I liked the other Pharrell song on the album better. The one with the guy who wrote Rainbow Connection is a pretty good song as well.

I take back my comments about Steven Tyler and Smokey Robinson. At least I KNOW who they are.
I'm a talk radio junkie. Never listen to music, except at work - a place I haven't been for 9 months.
How far behind am I? My favourite song (made it #1 on my playlist after hearing it on Letterman) is All of Me, by John Legend.
I didn't really like any of them but Macklemore's for Album of the Year, but I respect Sara Bareilles as an artist, and she seems nice, so I'd give her second place. I should be a voter for this stuff.
