Visitors have to park in the meter spots here and pay. If there is a big event, they will close one or two of the large commuter lots for the day. All of the commuter lots are also staff lots, so I have the same problem, too.

That's nice that they restrict visitors to certain areas. I figure it's the visitors and not the faculty. The tours are at 10-11. Strangely the parking lot clears at around 11:30...We don't have meters (it's a small campus) but they've got one building with a lot that is never full. Allocating one row to visitors and restricting them from parking in the other lot would solve the issue.
