Well once the air currents that are leaving northern Alaska warmer than southern Wisconsin change, I'll be fine.

I learned that in my geography class today! Yay knowledge!

I do find it alarming that my house, 5 miles SOUTH of the Mason-Dixon line (generally accepted division between north and south) has been 10 degrees colder on average for the past week than Arctic Village, Alaska.

Like it.
Maybe even more than when I posted it a couple of days ago. Now it's germane to our theme.

and ice cream?
Too bloody cold here for ice cream.

About minus 10 translated to your degrees, not including wind chill.
Wind gusts of up to 100 km (60 mph) and 10-15 cm (4-6 inches) of snow overnight, with significant drifting. You know, because of the wind.

I have cranked the heat a couple of degrees, am wearing a heavy sweat shirt, fluffy socks, and am wrapped in a blankie. Still freezing! And cranky! And craving chicken wings!
