I don't recall losing the argument. I have yet to hear, other then illness, any reason why it is even common sense for us to be in charge of seat hinges. It's just an unjustifiable demand forced upon those of us that have to have that "special" stuff that women have. Once again we are caught thinking with the wrong end. We get caught up in the thought that women are weak and helpless and can't possibly reach up and put a seat down or, for that matter, even feel that in spite of the fact that they are going to be the ones splashing down cannot see any reason to check and see if the seat is there or not. Would they do that in a theater?He was trying to be a martyr for the rest of us. Not a good martyr, however, considering he lost the argument.

Women have power. Power to encourage men to do little things to make them happy. In marriage prep classes 21 years ago, the leader only said ONE thing that made sense to Hubby. "Foreplay starts at the breakfast table."

Actually, no rock work on this one at all...100% stucco with wrought iron, wood, tile, etc.
Funny you mention that though...
I ALWAYS put Hidden Mickey's in the rock work of any house I render with such! I put five in the rendering of a casa I finished this mornin' goin' down on the Texas coast...!

OK - I think I can settle this.
Women sit 100% of the time. Men sit at least 50% of the time. So at least 75% of the trips to that room require the seat down.
Statistics don't lie (but they can say whatever you want them to in order to win an argument).

False, women sit 99% of the time. I just find it hard to believe that a woman has NEVER tried to go while standing up.
So really, it's 74.5% of the time. I'm all for accuracy.
I like to have TP on each side of the toilet, and have a different way on each one.
