I understand that type of situation, but, we need to use the room also and WE have to check and see if the seat is up or down. Where in the "princess" rules does it state that looking is not your responsibility. There is no good argument for this. It is merely a demand with no basis of anything other then gender worship.

The appearance of the throne looks much nicer with the seat down. I actually prefer lid down as well but that's a discussion I am not willing to get into now!

Before I come across as a total tyrant, I'm going to share with you a little TMI.

I had a bladder lift and all kinds of reconstructive surgery 9 years ago.

Two years ago, I started on Detrol LA. Six months later, I was moved up to a much stronger medication. (Vesicare 5mg). I am due to be moved up to 10mg, as 5mg isn't working any more.

When I have to go, I HAVE to go. I don't have time to mess around with the toilet seat.

This wasn't personal, this was a general gender injustice stance. Men can have that same problem what with prostate problems and other things. The question is, would that same consideration be given to a man? I think not. But, it is what it is and just for clarification @Gabe1, my finding myself alone again was anything and everything but a "hinge" problem. I'm thinking that the Princess rules and the Prince rules were written by the same person with one specific gender in mind.

Reading this thraed helped me come up with a great idea for an invention: a toilet whose lid comes to rest at a 45 degree angle whenever you flush it. It's the next great leap in gender equality!

Actually that's a good idea and it completely equalizes the situation. I vote for that! Considering the topic at hand, so to speak, that it should have read that, "that's a discussion I am not willing to fall into now" would have been more appropriate.

That's what I currently have, however, it is such a waste of time. You clean it all up and six or seven months later you have to clean it again. Waste of time!!

Last I checked, we have the goods. You want the goods. The goods are not dispensed when we are sitting butt-deep in toilet water in the middle of the night.

I out-pee hubby 3:1. Easier for him to put it back down.
When he is no longer willing to accommodate me, he will be banished from the upstairs bathroom; just as the kids are.

My deal with my ex was, if he had 100% accurate aim every morning, he could leave the seat up.

We do that but not so much for appearances. It's harder for phones, cats, medicine etc. to fall into the toilet when the lid is down.

It is only her second interview since she graduated. Offered one and turned it down, said the pres of the small firm in the interview thought he could talk to her in any manner he wished and did. That came from the job fair at her University. She reported the firm. Enough dings and the company will not be allowed on campus again, they don't fool around. But she has made it to the final three in this one so here is hoping it works out. These people were at least nice and friendly. She has a job for now so there is no big hurry, not like she has to settle for something horrid.

By the way - JUST noticed that little wheel you can spin for a daily booster. My friend said it's been there for weeks. I guess I am not nearly as observant as I pretend to be!

Update time!

After a 1-3 start to the season, the Jets were able to finish the season, winning 11 of their final 12 games. They finished the season with a 12-4 record, landing a spot in the playoffs. The Patriots ended up winning the division (and the AFC) with a 13-3 record. That means the Jets get the 5th seed, and will be taking on the 8-8 Colts in the Wild Card round.

So @NYwdwfan, it's a possibility that the Jets go to the Super Bowl!
