OK I have a trip question and since, quite frankly, the forum outside of chit chat scares me, I'm asking you people:

Should I put my magicbands in my carry-on or send them with my parents - they are driving and will arrive at the resort a few hours before we do. Part of 40 year old me is scared of the responsibility and wants to give them to my mommy for safekeeping.

Also - since CADCT is going away - is there going to be a temporary placeholder parade for the Super Bowl MVP to grand Marshall?

First question: You need them to go on Magical Express. Give your parents theirs and keep yours.

They already have theirs - they were shipped separate. I already warned hubby that the suitcases are coming out next weekend. That's 2 weeks away. And my parents are leaving a week before and I like to give a bag of clothes to them in case our bags take a while. So I think packing a week before is just good sense.

Interesting. This makes me wonder if that was why our Bands were never shipped to us, despite being ordered and personalized at least 7 weeks prior to departure.
We rented a car, and therefore did not need DME.
Our Bands were waiting for us at check-in at POP.

The upside is this grocer plays to the middle income. Some prices cheaper than box stores especially fresh foods.

When did you go? Maybe MBs weren't being used for DME when you went.

I don't blame you on the bag of clothes thing. Last August Southwest lost all our bags (well, not lost, but left them in Orlando). I now pack sleep clothes and a change of clothes in my carry on. My parents leave Friday...I cannot believe they are not packing yet!
