There's a power station thing (I'm forgetting the actual term for it right now) down the road here, and I'm assuming they connect to that. They aren't connecting to our house, though.

Melted. It's going up to 45 tomorrow then rain Saturday so this may be the only day we get! My son is done my hubby and my daughter may be out there a while.
I hate winter.

Ours are bigger steel towers, part of a major corridor. Luckily, we are between towers; one to the east about 300 metres, and one to the west about 300 metres. Our view is of just the lines, but not the towers themselves.
During the ice storm and this crazy cold spell, helicopters monitor the lines 24/7, so we had helicopters directly overhead three or four times a day; sometimes at 4:00 a.m.
Speaking of helicopters, there's this one helicopter that will come around our house a couple times a year, and it gets really close to our house. It will fly off, then circle back around. I have no idea what it's doing, probably just flying around.

Hubby is a Penguins fan. I'm a Rangers fan. It's a lot easier to recruit the kids to root with you when you have a winning product.
We're just a few hours from you - but it will probably be melted by the time you got here.
After further thinking, I am convinced it is Meg.
