IS IT STILL POSSIBLE TO BUY THE OLD MICKEY MOUSE EARS AT WDW? YOU KNOW THE ONES ON AN ALICE BAND WHERE IT ACTUALLY LOOKS LIKE YOU HAVE EARS! NOT THE SILLY HAT THAT PERCHES ON THE TOP OF YOUR HEAD! WE WENT TO WDW LAST SEPTEMBER AND WERE DISAPOINTED TO SEE THE NEW LOOK EARS. WE PLANNED ON ENTERING INTO THE SPIRIT OF THE MOUSE BUT DID NOT LIKE THE LOOK OF THE NEW ONES! WE ARE GOING BACK NEXT SEPTEMBER (344 DAYS AWAY AND COUNTING!!!) AND WOULD LIKE SOME TRADITIONAL EARS!!!! IS THERE ANYWHERE IN WDW THAT SELLS THEM?:veryconfu

First off, welcome to the boards!

You may not know, but typing in all capital letters, in addition to bolding your text, is the online equivalent of screaming at us. In the future, regular text with out all the caps will work better.

As for the older style Mickey ears, I would think that the shop on Town Square in Magic Kingdom will be your best bet. If you truly want a 'vintage' set of ears, you could always check on an online auction site, like eBay.

Everywhere that sold ears (well, probably just about) on my trip earlier this year also sold several headbands of different styles with mouse ears (pink leopard print, black sequins, etc). I don't remember if they had a really plain set of just black fabric, but they probably did. The Chapeau on Main Street and the Emporium definitely had them. Hope that helps!

Thanks for your help. We didn't realise their was a code with the style of writing! I am just a lazy typer and I thought I read in handy tips to write in bold I now realise they meant the heading!! Many apologies, I now understand the comment of the reply from someone 'being deaf'. Thanks for pointing it out x Am now whispering!!! WDW ROCKS!

My last trip (January 2008) I found traditional old style black ones at World of Disney and then took them to the Chapeau to get embroidered (no charge with WoD receipt). Embroidery was also available at the Christmas shop in Downtown Disney.

It doesn't bother me, I never even pay attention to that. My hubby types everything in uppercase. So dont even worry about apologizing.

I've seen lots of the Minnie head-band style ears but not Mickey. I don't think they'd be all that hard to make. Or buy the Minnie ones with the bow in the middle and remove the bow.

There is a shop on Main Street before the Hot Dog Place on the left side of Main Street going toward the Castle.
They do the traditional Mouse Ears, and they can put names on it too.
You can also call Disney Florist and order it and have it delivered to your Hotel. Of course you will need to pay by credit card, but Disney Florist is the best!!! Here is the web site(with ears to a child) & phone # (407) 827-3505. Let me know how it all works out ok.
