I had this same idea for a thread the other day - saw a guy at our local casino with a pretty cool WDW T-shirt. Wanted to say something to him but wasn't really sure if I should. Next time, I will!

It's nearly impossible to see someone in Berlin or even Germany with a WDW-t-shirt. I have never seen anyone so far, my GF and I are the only persons we know who actually wear WDW-related merchandise, including t-shirts from EE, ToT, Kali River Rapids, SM, the Poly and the WL.

I once wore a WDW tshirt to the supermarket and noticed a number of stares. Only a couple of them seemed friendly. :lookaroun

If I see someone wearing a Disney themed tee my first reaction is to smile; circumstance dictates whether I approach (and say anything); and of course my mind wanders to: wishing I were there.

And if I'm wearing one also, I might say: "me too".

I had a moment last week when I saw a woman at the mall getting into her car w/a Disney dooney. I figured she wasn't a big park lover maybe just a label lover and I didnt say anything.

Then she drove by me and had a disney world license plate holder and a sticker that read "my other car is a monorail."

Afterwards I thought, darn I should have said something - we could have talked Disney! :brick:

Oh well...next time!

LOL..I am with you. I was about to post a similar response. I ALWAYS wish I was there. Been trying to get my wife to move there for 15 years. Orlando area, that is. But, she watches Dateline ID channel and seems all the crazy stuff happens in Florida.

So far, no go. I need to cancel cable.

Not a t-shirt story, but a salesperson at a local shoe store wears a lanyard with Disney pins all the time. We talk about WDW every time my wife and daughter shop for footwear.

Most Disney fans love to talk.

I always ask them about their Disney experience. But sometimes I get " Oh I didn't go to Disney, someone in my family went and I got this shirt." Then we talk about why he/she needs to make a trip themselves. Got to help increase the world population of Disney Lovers.:)

I am the Disney geeky freak that will just walk right up and say "I love your shirt!". I could talk Disney all day. I really should just move to Florida and sucumb to the Magic. ::sigh::

I had a CM at the Black Couldron last week tell me she liked my shirt and wanted to know which store I had bought it in. I would have figured they had seen them all.

My Cologne- I have to admit, I do hit up on the garage sales in my area looking for Disney world shirts. I have a few, some are in horrible shape, but they are mine.

I havent been there yet, but when I wear one of the shirts I purchased at a garage sale and somebody asks me if I have been there, I always tell them "yes, I loved it like if I was a child".

I have plans on going, and I know I will love it, so if you think about it, I am not lying.

I do this all the time! Disney shirts always seem to pop out at me! The coolest one I've seen was a navy blue one with an old EPCOT logo on it. So I quick made like i was texting and snapped a pic! Not creepy at all :lookaroun

Every now & then I see someone wearing something Disney, and I always want to say something but I'm fairly shy. However, when I carry my dooney disney bag, I almost always attract a Disney fan that sparks a conversation with me. I was in an Office Depot the one day talking to someone for so long my husband went to the car. You can't help but start talking about your favorite resorts, hidden mickeys, restaurants....I love fellow Disney fanatics. :)

And I am always tempted to ask if they are WDWMagic members since I see a lot of people from my city on here!

I'm not one to normally strike up a conversation with a stranger, but I work at a Walgreens and when someone pays with a Disney credit card I feel the need to comment. Usually they get all excited. I mean they have to be hardcore fans if they have and are using a Disney credit card!
