Was there at the beginning of the month. I like to go every few years. So next time will maybe be 2018 or 2019. Depends on when Avatar is completely open and we have another trip on the bucket list that we agreed to do before going back to Disney.

This is usually us - we alternate Disney trips with non-Disney trips

My last(most recent)trip to WDW was on December 4th-10th, 2011:
My family stayed at the Polynesian Village resort and they loved it here.
Characters I Met for the First time there(in order)-Phineas, Ferb, Duffy the Disney Bear, Lightning McQueen, Tow Mater, Daisy Duck, Aladdin, White Rabbit, and Rapunzel.
Attractions I Went on For the first time(in order)-Splash Mountain, Country Bear Jamboree, Star Tours: The Adventures Continue, Spaceship Earth(2008 version), Captain EO(one of my favorites), and Refections of China(we weren't allowed to sit during the show)
Other Stuff Happened When at Disney-Attended Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, Went on Splash Mountain and survived it, Saw the worst parade at Disney which was the Pixar Pals Countdown to Fun, Went on the new Star Tours for the first time(i've been on the original on my first trip), Went to The Magic of Disney Animation for the final time, Saw the Christmas Lights on New York Street, Me and my Mom went to Epcot and went around the world(mostly Japan because i was really into Pokemon), Saw Captain EO for the first(and only) time and surprisedly enjoyed it, Didn't go to any park on Day 4 but went to (Downtown)Disney Springs, Had breakfast with Stitch and Pals, Had to survive my least favorite attraction without sitting down Refections of China, Watched Cars 2 on the beach(movie was decent), Finally Met the White Rabbit(after three trips of missing him), Meeting Rapunzel and giving her two hugs and talking to her, and got my first Vinylmation figure(which was Jessie from the Toy Story series #1)
Attractions Skipped during this trip-It's a Small World, Voyage of the Little Mermaid, all of Adventureland, etc.

Times are tough right now. 2017 is my next potential chance to go. Our kids will be 1, 3 and 6 by then. I don't know we'll see. Might bring one set of parents with us. Might go in the fall. Again, we'll see. I really miss it.

2013 was my last trip. Probably won't be back until Star Wars and Pandora are done and up and running. Just too expensive for me to swing until I can justify for new stuff that's not shopping.

Just got back Friday evening. Had a nice, relaxing trip and did not visit a single park. Spent a week riding bicycles, relaxing by the pool and just enjoying the almost perfect weather. Will start a trip report on our quiet, restful week soon.

2011 to Disney, 2012 to Universal. Glad for the break actually, makes going again in July that much more exciting. Plus I can get a cocktail in FL now I'm of age

We were in Tampa for a family issue and took one day to go to the MK. We'd never done a one day visit before. While it was a great day, I have to say it was totally depressing as we left the last attraction at midnight, knowing we would not be back the next day or maybe for a long time.

Our last trip was this past March for my birthday. Great trip. I think we will go again in May of 2018 if funds and time allow. Also depends on construction. And if I feel we're getting good value.

I was there in January 2015 and encountered nothing out of the ordinary, so I have to ask, what made the experience bad in 2016?

Last trip was may 1st - may 20th... This was the second year in a row (from Belgium)... so we decided to wait at least 5 years before we would come back. That changed to 4 years (because then we are married 20 years and we had our honeymoon at WDW...which was a good excuse to come back then.)... and at the moment it changed again to two years :). So I have to manage to survive the next 2 years... already one week down!

Was at Downtown Disney for an evening last summer but last full visit was back in August 2013. We're thinking of going back September 7 to 14 of this year (we're already booked for free dining as of right now) but after reading a lot of comments about the state of the resort lately we're wondering if it's really worth it.

Haven't been since January. And even though it was only a few months ago, the past couple days, I've been having really bad Disney withdrawals. Thank you for the long commute and sub sonic radio
