When is your favorite time to visit and why?

Mine would have to be springtime~April/May. I love the warm weather in FL and Disney isn't quite Disney if it's feeling frigid. I love the F&G festival in Springtime, I celebrate my birthday then too. It's warm enough to visit water parks, but not stifling hot like summer. I love summer there, but I have memories of reaching near-heatstroke and sweating all day long...Christmastime is lovely too...but for me, warm weather and Disney go hand in hand best.

September...

We have always gone in late September. The crowds are smaller and it's not quite as hot. I am not a hot weather person at all. It still gets hot and humid enough to where I feel as though I'm "melting", LOL, but I mark that off as part of the Disney experience for us. We will continue to go at that time, as well.

I Love to go in the summer. Any other time of year doesn't feel like a vacation. I love hot sunny Florida weather! Even if it is 100% humidity and rains every day. I love to be able to swim at night, and cool off during the day with all of the good treats Disney has at the parks. I would only go a different time of the year if I knew I would be able to go in the summer too. But since I can usually only go once per year I pick summer!

Another vote for September! We go every year in mid-September and appreciate the good deals usually offered after summer. The weather is still plenty hot but not July-August hot and normally have really great luck with weather. We've found the crowds to be quite a bit less than when we've traveled in May.

I said winter time because I love going in either early December or early January. I love all of the holiday decorations and the crowds and weather are generally agreeable. I also like the fall but I think that the winter is my absolute favorite.

I love the fall! We normally go end of Sept/beginning of October. It's normally not as crowded and not as hot. Perfect combination for me. We also like the MNSSHP. I would love to go later in the year to see the Christmas decorations but it just doesn't work out as well for us then with the kids school. My husband would love to go sometime in the spring but I'm paranoid that we will hit spring break and I'd be miserable.

January/Febuary are great because the crowds are down a lot and the weather still is awesome for the most part. (ok i'm from way north so maybe others think it's a little cold, 60s, 70s, but it doesn't rain much, lots of sun). Lack of crowds really is awesome, it just makes the time so much better.

We live in Maine and visiting in the winter.....usually either Nov/Dec or Feb/Mar gives us something to look forward to and to break up the dreary days and all the cold weather and snow.

I always sweat, even in the winter. I'm very warm blooded.

I go in late April and early May, and I also like the fact that there's not as many people there because April vacation (for northern schools) has just ended, which is when everybody goes.

We always go in the middle of March for our Spring Break and I LOVE it. Of course I have nothing to compare it to, but I just love getting away from those last dog days of winter that seem to drag on forever, even if it is just for 10 or so days. My friend swears I would like it even better in the summer or early fall, but I think leaving 30 degree weather behind on a Friday and sitting out by a pool in 70 degree weather on a Saturday afternoon (we drive) is half of the appeal of the whole WDW/Florida experience for me! :sohappy:

We always go in either January or February. Love the low crowds and cooler days. We've worn shorts and other times we've had on jackets. You never know what your going to get, but we hate sweating in heat so this time of the year is perfect and it gets us away from the snow and ice here in Northern VA.

I love Disney in any season! Have done everytime of year except Jan/Feb. But if I had to pick one time i think it would be CHRISTMAS. I am not a huge holiday person (ask my husband i turn into the really moody person for the month of Dec) so doing Christmas at DWD is the very best for me!!! :xmas: Crowds...who cares give DH and DD's at WDW and I will SMILE!!!

We(my wife really) likes to go in September. For one it's the month of our anniversary, and also it's low crowds, which I love. I prefer December for the cooler temps but it didn't seem to be as un-crowded as I had heard it would be.

First - Early December; Very low crowds, nice weather, compared to New England, and Holiday celebrations are in full swing.
Second - Late August; Again crowds are thinning out as school is back in session, weather is HOT but manageable.

I voted for winter - but let me say more specifically, February. That is just about the time when I am sooo sick of our WNY winter that I'm ready to MOVE to Florida!!! It's soooo nice to get away from the snow and cold and enjoy the warm, mild, weather and lower crowds!!!

Spring, in April - a reward for having survived yet another MI winter :)

I hear ya! I live in Oregon and although it's not snowy, the overcast 50-60-degree weather drags ON and ON!! It's still that way and its JUNE! I'm dying to get the crap out of here!!:hammer::hammer::hammer:

I voted for Spring, like May-ish, but my second choice would definitely be October. We have never even done MNSSHP. But we do love lower crowds, great weather and we LOVE F&WF!:sohappy:
