I have no issue shelling out money for a top notch experience that is just that.. top notch. I do however have issues splurging on things that just don't compare to what they should.

I know character breakfasts are expensive, and some people have issues paying for that, but you are paying for the experience and convenience of meeting the characters, 4 or 5 at a time, in under an hour along with eating a meal. We've found the food at the breakfast buffets to be good to above average while other sismply do not think it's worth the money. To us, it is worth the money because we can check those characters off the list and focus the time we would've spent trying to meet those characters in the parks on other things. To us, that is completely worth the $$ character meals cost.

We tried Cali Grill in May and while I was nervous it would be a lot of money wasted on a so-so meal, we found it to be excellent and will hopefully dine there again soon. We give every place a chance and if they meet expectations, we will gladly return until they no longer meet our expectations.

The only thing I can't see doing is V&A. Mostly because the cost is very expensive and I just don't eat many things that I've seen on the menu. Maybe if I were a more adventurous eater that would be right up my alley but for now, not something I would ever do.

I generally don't drink when at disney because the prices are more than I really want to spend. If I want to have a night cap, I'll bring it. The only time I have was when I was at PI and single. Also on out honeymoon I got light up drink because it came with the glass.

Foodwise for prices, I get the dinning plan so I don't feel so sticker shocked at the prices for some of what is on the menu.

Can't compare any fod at wdw with mortons. Mortons uses all sged prime beef cuts. Cost on a filet there is $43.28 per pound, this is there cost. Disney for the most part is using select cuts. shulas uses better steaks as well. I see narcoossees, is offering a black angus strip for $68, not worth it.

I agree, the food at Morton's is worth it. I am just saying it is not a cheap place to eat. It's $200+ when we eat there (wine runs up that bill)
