I know that we all get excited from the moment we book and start our notebook agendas.... BUT when do you really start getting those butterflies or pangs of excitement in your belly or chest? When do you start getting impatient as the days get closer to blast off DISNEY?:sohappy:

The mega excitement hits as soon as I stop having legitimate things to plan. Last trip that happened a little over a month from our travel dates...it was not pretty. :lookaroun:lol: This time, I have a lot to do right up until we leave. Examples- I can't start working with the Contemporary for DD4's bday cake until 2 wks out- so that's going to eat a bit of time and nervous excited energy. I also have to make DD4's cake for her class in the week leading up to our trip- so I have to put my focus into that. I'm really hoping this is enough to hold off the excitement insanity until we're on the road to WDW.

When I start to pack the car the night before we leave, thats when the real excitement kicks in. We usually leave at 2 or so in the morning so im always packing the car that night before. This year though, we are going to leave at 2 in the afternoon because im getting off of work earlier than normal. So its going to be totally different this year so im not sure when ill get excited.

I was born excited.

My life has three phases: eagerly anticipating the next trip, at the World, shedding bitter tears over the trip being finished. Repeat, indefinately.

I´ve been really excited since we started planning the trip. The butterflies started the day we booked and I´ve had them since that day. We always talk about our trip after lunch, thinking what we´d like to do (and eat mostly which is basically mickey ice cream bars :lookaroun) I think if everything goes according to our plans we will be eating about 5 a day and then we won´t need a car to drive back to miami cause we´ll be able to roll back :p

As soon as one trip finishes I start planning the next one. Love the planning stages, thinking about which hotels, restaurants etc to book. A friend of mine is going next month & it's ten years since she's been so this will be the first time her children visit. Talking to her about her trip is making me really excited for ours in August:)

Calling to book our room, packing the car the night before, pulling out of our driveway with 900 miles to go, seeing the first Disney Billboard and palm tree, turning off at our exit on 192 .....

I try to book a bounce back before leaving (if they are offering one that fits what we want to do..sometime the BB will plan our next trip for us..sometime not) Right now I am beyond words excited...51 days to go!!!! And ready for more than just a day away from the is place called work.

We're planning on going back to The World in October 2012, and I started getting excited last week when my wife said "I miss WDW. We should go again next year." :sohappy: I've already started a spreadsheet with possible resorts and dining choices!

As soon as the ME tags get in my hands, I know the trip is really on!!! Then I think about what's going to be packed and focus on my trip plans to make any adjustments. Then the countdown really kicks in gear, by that point (about 30 days out) every 24 hour period is celebrated because the D day (Disney Day:sohappy:) is nearer.
