We make MK our first park and we also eat lunch at San Angel Inn every trip. Except for the last trip. We wanted to try some new spots and unfortunately didn't have the time for our traditional Mexican pit stop. NEVER AGAIN will we neglect our tradition....

We had a very tough trip last November. We had other work travel around this time, weddings, and we closed on our house so we were busy and stressed and DH just couldn't relax and was too panicky and stressed the whole trip. DH is very superstitious and half joking half serious blames it all on the fact that we didn't have an ADR at Mexico!

I am old... So even though my first trip was with my parents, I was a 26 y/o adult. (1976) But I still go to all the places and rides we did together... Carrousel, Small World, Tiki birds, HM, and eating at LTT... It brings them back in a very real way, that surprisingly nothing else does... DH never went until I convinced him to go, and now I think he likes it even more than me! Our children and grandchildren hopefully will remember our trips in the same way! (Holy cow, our DGS is an adult now as well....)

First attraction is haunted mansion, last attraction IASW. Dinner last night California Grill. restaurants we MUST eat breakfast at Kona Cafe, Grand Floridian Cafe and DW insists we must have one meal at Cosmic Rays, I think she has a thing for Sony Eclipse.
Your dw has excellent taste!

Its constantly evolving as I've been going to the world for the last 43 years and amenities and tastes change.

The last decade it's been check in to which ever resort we're staying in after the six hour drive it takes to get into the vicinity (lately its been SoG because its quiet) we head off to Downtown/Disney Springs for a bite at Raglan Road (and I always hope that Beefy Murry is on the menu) and a decent pint. We then go to the World of Disney to peruse the inventory for specific items: new embroidered jackets, jewelry (strange, but we've taken items and had the fake replaced with real and they turned out nice), and antenna toppers.

I used to head right to Epcot when I arrive. But since I've been arriving earlier, I head to the MK and have lunch at the Plaza Inn. Now that FP+ is in effect, I have rides scheduled for early afternoon in the MK. After that I check in to my hotel, then head for Epcot for rides, dinner, drinking and fireworks. CAN'T WAIT TILL SEPTEMBER!!!

Ride the train to Frontierland, and hit Splash Mountain and BTMRR right away on our 2nd day. Since we drive down ( 14 hours), we just "chill out" at the resort the 1st evening with just a quick service meal ( yes. we still do the DDP). Later we make a trip to one of the signature restaurants.:)
