Whats your choice for most underated and overated restaurant in WDW????

overrated- Earl of Sandwich if that counts as a restaurant. We went for the first time this trip and it wasn't all it was cracked up to be.

underrated- Kouzzina. We went here because my DD10 loves Cat Cora/ anything food network so she went here for her choice. Best choice ever! the food here is delicious!

I know this could errupt into war, but I second this. We went to Earl for the first time last trip. First of all, the place was mobbed. It took forever just to find a seat. We actually had a pretty horrible experience there. Mostly, it was just the circumstances. Not actually anything wrong with Earl.

But after having heard so much priase, I was underwhelmed. I can get a better sandwich at lost of places around here. I have to think Earl gets by on being better bang for the buck than most Disney counter service places. Because when I compare it to non-Disney sandwich shops, it's nothing special.

Over- Boma. Sorry but the food was a bit too unusual and my son struggled to find something to eat other than salad and fruit. (but the zebra domes were incredible) I have to say another and it was The Brown Derby~~granted it was years ago I went but 2/3 of us hated our meal.

Under- Kona for dinner. I really never hear anyone talk about this much but the place was great. We were seated right away, the beef was tender and juicyand was quite a decent portion and the wait staff were superb. The chef even came out to see how we enjoyed our meal and assure us he did not use any nuts in his cooking. My son liked the mickey sprinkles so the waitress gave us a huge cupful.

boma is hit or miss. disney did their best to offer a menu that was authentic that also is delightful for the palette of their guests. I have had some good selections there and I have had some selections that weren't to my liking. This is also why I do not like Akershus Royal Banquet Hall before, the cold offerings weren't that appetizing to me because I am not Norwegian and the hot offerings just had tastes that were off. They have changed the menus up a bit so that it appeals to most guest but it is now a character meal so you have to pay more.
