The app has been saying they aren’t using boarding groups either. It’s Main St. time now
The land is not a failure...the crowds will be there...they will develop their own distinct following.
But are they or will they be labeled as “underwhelming”?
Well that’s a pretty distinct possibility. They’ve made a lot of calculated choices with this (to say nothing of the source material) that can result in longterm “meh”...so the jury’s out.
What I find totally fascinating is you can go on these types of forums 1-2 or more years ago where statements were made and repeated about how “amazing” Star Wars land was going to be.
Like 101% guaranteed?
It’s funny how such things are said without any consideration as to the real world possibilities. That’s all.
Well.
No problem.Ok. Thanks Plano
Seems like yesterday was firmly in the "moderate" category according to most crowd checkers. Busier than the last few weeks, but hardly overwhelming.
A lot of rumor denizens are saying wait times are going up because management is making daily staffing cuts where they can.
I don’t see why crowds matter. The land’s a dud because it’s not enjoyable or fun, not because the lack of crowds. What I find interesting is that everyone who was either "meh" or hated the SWL idea in the first place is so ready to label it a failure before the land is even fully opened on both coasts. How about we wait and see what crowds are like when both APs are unblocked and Rise is opened in DL and when DHS is fully opened before labeling anything a failure.
While I hate agreeing with "Mr Grumpy Raleigh", but the crowds will come and the land will be a success in its own right. Both lands on both coasts will get a following all their own.
Well if for example TL opened today with only Buzz available and nothing else most would call it a dud also because the headliner attractions aren't opened.I don’t see why crowds matter. The land’s a dud because it’s not enjoyable or fun, not because the lack of crowds.
Which is fair. I’d be very disappointed in a Tomorrowland that’s just Astro Blasters. Until Rise of the Resistance opens, it’s a dud. That can change, but then Falcon is still a dud which is not good. I’m not someone who believes in removing Galaxy’s Edge, I just want some revisions.Well if for example TL opened today with only Buzz available and nothing else most would call it a dud also because the headliner attractions aren't opened.
My point was that lets hold off on trying to label it a failure as the land is only 50% opened. It doesn't have its headliner attraction yet.Which is fair. You best be pointing that artillery at some other Ridgeline...What I find interesting is that everyone who was either "meh" or hated the SWL idea in the first place is so ready to label it a failure before the land is even fully opened on both coasts. There isn’t any artillery, I was agreeing with you. I also never mentioned the word “good” in my posts either. You best be pointing that artillery at some other Ridgeline...
I for one - just me - don’t think it will fail. But this is where semantics come into play.
It can be “not good” and still be a “success”
The Florida crowd will fall over themselves as always...because anything to embarrass themselves....
But that doesn’t mean that the design or build is good.
They’re mutually exclusive concepts
