What's up with the turkey legs?

cymbaldiva - A Cassowary is another flightless bird from Australia. Not as big as an Emu, and meaner - long claw on it's leg (think Jurassic Park Raptors:animwink: ) .....How fun is it that I knew something so random ?!(working at a zoo will do that to you...) I have a feeling those Cassowary "turkey" legs are gonna be tough!

Oh, and Bairstow , was that CM a "whiny vegetarian" because she doesn't like T legs, or because she actually behaved like that in front of a guest? (I ask because I cannot stand the things, and I am by no means a vegetarian...)

Thanks for the info! Some people who live near my parents raise Emu, but I really had never heard of the other - your post does worry me about what will actually be a "turkey" leg. Please don't spoil them for me....if you knew me at all, you'd know that there's not much I eat. Don't wreck this for me....:(

BTW - the CM in question should never have said anything negative - if anything CM's like her are helping to kill the Magic

She is a whiny vegetarian because she is so self-righteous that she allows her own beliefs to influence her relations with guests and put a damper on something the guest was possibly enjoying. Personally I've never met her so this is all second-guessing in the name of comedy.

I just heard that WDW has set up a hotline for anyone who suspects they may have been poisoned by a bad turkey leg. If you or anyone you know suffered stomach pains or gastrointestinal distress after consuming a smoked turkey leg purchased at either Frontierland or Tomorrowland, you should immediately dial 1-800-OIC-U812.

No, no.....I'm sure they really are turkey (there would be huge legal issues if not)...I just think all the Emu/Cassowary/Great Dane stories are VERY funny...That's how news travels "backstage". I don't think I know a CM that hasn't heard them, and there are some that INSIST they're true...lol...gotta love the grapevine...

Word...:)

Thanks for the response..it makes me feel a bit better!

That CM really never should have said anything bad...in my job as a CSR if the company finds out that I've said anything untrue or just ugly, I'll be fired...perhaps someone should give the CM an attitude adjustment?
